darkwolf777 Posted August 20, 2011 Report Share Posted August 20, 2011 They aren't the same because "Also, this card cannot be an attack target of your opponent's monsters." affects MONSTERS where a monster cannot attack the target, where "Your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target." affects the PLAYER in which he cannot declare an attack on the monster (meaning the monster CAN attack the target, if only the player could declare an attack upon it). I already said the DCR Guardians are underwhelming at best and terrible at worst. If you want to combo with Spirit Barrier, the only perk over Astral Barrier is it is immune to Spells and counts towards being a monster, but considering the only way to play this without the terrible Equip Spell is by Setting it and having it flipped by an attack or effect, this seems like a very roundabout manner of playing.
