They aren't good enough any more (because of no Cold Wave or Cat) to be top tier and deserve hitting, but they will never be a bad deck to compete with a meta. When you look at the decks that are getting the top tier positions you see samurais, gravekeeper, t.g. and tengu synchro. The reason why sabers dont ever get any attention is because not alot of people run them, and im not sure why that is, but i know i dont run them because its an expensive deck. X-sabers swarm way too easily. Either faultroll or gottoms E call should be hit IMO. They hit them because the deck(s) they belong in are topping big events and the card(s) Konami hit are the ones that would hinder/kill the deck. This format, X-Sabers won UkayPro (which Konami don't pay attention to) and top 4d Euros (which Konami don't pay attention to, since their banlist is based off the OCG and the Worlds). Unless Sabers start topping big OCG events, they can't get hit. And they won't do that because iirc Sabers aren't in OCG or have only been released recently and aren't topping anything. It seems that in the future, this card would most certanily be limited, but I find it unnecessary to run it more than @1, which is fine for me. Otherwise, it becomes too hard to get out on the field. It's my favorite of them all and the one I use in 95% of tournaments. But yeah, out of a 100 person tournament I entered a few months ago, there were 3 people running them including me.
