El Majishan
Discuss the bullshit that is the TCG ruling on Exceeds. Does it make the game better or just encourages herp derp +'s ect ect? And yeah I;m talking about you Tour Guide. Also discuss the fact that the OCG no longer has priority which actually balances quite a few cards (Brio, JD) and the fact that TCG refuses to embrace this awesome sauce of a ruling leaving our game broken. I am in favor of the OCG ruling just because I'm not a fan of someone going "herp derp i drop JD and nuke your field and you you cant really do much about it outside of warning or veiler"....plus it makes Trap Hole pro again. As for the batshit insane Exceed ruling....If I used monsters to create a new monster....how are the monsters I used still on the field when they are essentially absorbed into my Exceed? By that logic I can technically have at least 15 monsters on the field at any given time....Konami North America is just retarded.
evilhorus
Of course it does not make the game better. but plz don't ruin my search engine tewart
This Account is Unplayable
The Xyz rulings both have pros and cons. TCG prevents OTKs while allowing a near broken search engine. OCG allows the OTKs without the search engine that they don't have anyway. As for the priority ruling, it would be great if TCG could also adopt it, it balances so much stuff, and makes Bottomless almost as good as Warning. Black W Mage
has there been a YCS yet that applied the TCG Xyz ruling? especially with Tour Guide?
Ieyasu Tokugawa
I really think TCG and OCG should agree on one set of rulings. I could care less if the abusable TCG rulings get applied everywhere, but I'd like to face OCG players like Darkplant while not having to discuss which rulings we should use. Synchronized
It's probably a stupid question, but with the ruling that they're "on the field", something like United We Stand wouldn't allow you to exceed (no pun intended) +4000, right? Black W Mage
OH s*** Indianapolis had the Tour Guide ruling. AND NOBODY SAID ANYTHING! I'll give it 1 more YCS to see if they will change their minds on the Xyz rulings or not.

The only thing that matters for them being "on the field" is what happens when they "leave the field" or "go to the Graveyard from the field". evilfusion
What's considered the Tour Guide ruling? Or, if it's just based on how Sangan and Tour Guide are epic, why is it called the "Tour Guide" ruling?

HaouJudai
I see no reason whatsoever to worry about what does not apply to us in the TCG. If Kevin says that for now we activate absolute zero if he leaves the field fd then we activate it. It's just that simple. We play TCG. If someone is doing something differently it's not going to impact how we rule. We rule according to how Mr. Tewart/Mr. Debrito/Julia tells us to. This is like sitting down at the dinner table with your parents and saying 'Well David across the street gets to stay up until 2am every night and his parents don't mind" What would my response be as a parent? 'You don't live at David's do you?' If you say "But prio is gone in the OCG and sangan would not activate when detached" I'm going to say 'You don't play OCG do you?' lol
El Majishan
No we don't play OCG but it is not a very good business strategy. Think about it this way....What happens when a TCG player meets an OCG player at Worlds? Also the prority ruling balances a lot of the broken s*** that cards can do because they CAN call priority. Its about fixing that game not about "wellll ummmm Mr. Twit said so, so I guess its fine". If we all play ONE game said game should have ONE set of rules.
