Glitch?

EDIT: it's not every topic, just a lot of them, and if a new page is started, the new page will have full-size posts.

Curiously, it seems to "activate" directly after... certain posters post. Certain posters being a thing I'm not sure about, as I don't what it is these certain posters are doing when they post.

I don't feel like naming any of them because I know YCM is full of ass hats who'll prolly try to start a lynch mob the moment anyone is even slightly weird but... yeah.

If you see it happen, send me a message, preferably with a link to the topic.

Skin issue, most likely, that or YCMaker needs to apply a hotfix.

I FIGURED IT OUT!

Here's the code you never ever EVER put in your sig:

[code][spoiler=the quick brown fox[/spoiler][/code]

That would be... attempting a spoiler without a closing bracket (this thing--> ] ) at the end of the first one (and "quick brown fox" just being any random word)

Once or twice as an accident is prolly fine, but you might get a sig wipe depending on the length - I don't wanna get into a big nesting dolls of spoilers just to find the one spoiler you messed up on. Punishment will prolly range but... if you're purposely doing it, don't think we won't notice.

SO NOW THAT YOU KNOW HOW TO PERMANENTLY SCREW WITH THE BOARD! ... Don't do it. =\

Edit: Also, feel free to PM/e-mail or w/e me with links to whoever you see who does this, and assuming for right now they get a free pass I'll try to fix it or something.

The last page of the thread in my sig has squished posts near the bottom. Also the first page of my pop culture thread also in my sig is worse. It's been like this for over a month. I've been PMing YCM Maker, but I'm getting no response.

As I mentioned in some other post, the problem is an incomplete spoiler tag. Ie, someone did the usual way of trying to make spoilers, and they missed on one of the brackets. If it happens in a sig, it happens EVERYTIME! someone posts. In your topic... it's prolly just one of your spoilers. I'd advice you to double check all of them.

I set it to unapprove the post right before the glitch (kind of like deleting, except it just makes it invisible) and all the posts after that one disappeared, not just the one single post.

Well, it gets annoying, and not everybody realizes the connection, reads this topic, or can properly create a spoiler tag. Maybe there needs to be an announcement or something to inform everybody.
