Mugendramon
It's been so long since my last card. I hope I'm not that rusted on this. During each of your Standby Phases: You can banish 1 monster in your Graveyard; place 1 Ambition Counter on this card. When this card is sent to the Graveyard: Draw 1 card for each Ambition Counter on it.
From MST to S/T negation bait. Your opponent should theorically try to get rid of this, thus wasting their removal. At this point, this looks just like a wosre Fragment of Greed. But, this gets its effect when destroyed, meaning the longer your opponent takes to kill it, the more you'll draw. Once the amount of counters it up to a certain point, your opponent should stop trying to destroy it, thus avoiding you from drawing 5 or so cards. When you use your own MST on it however, some may even try to negate that MST from destroying the Pot. Of course, this will still burn through your resources for it to accumulate Counters, so it's not always a viable option to use the effect.
Well? Ieyasu Tokugawa
You could have at least tried to balance it by saying "When this card is destroyed by your opponent", but no~, you just had to go all out and break it.

Otherwise your opponent could just sit there and do nothing about it. Which would make the card pointless. Thank you for the suggestion, but I'll keep it as it is. groniack
Maybe you want to put a limit on the counters and allow it to be destroyed by yourself. I suggest to limit the counters to 2-3.

I suggest to limit the counters to 2-3.
I could do this, but it'd ruin half of the card's purpose. If you read the spoiler, you should see where I'm headed. It's not the same to destroy it when it has 3 Counters as to destroy it when it has 7. So, when it does have 7, not only will your opponent have stopped trying to destroy it, but also try to stop you from destroying it yourself. Marco Polo
Overpowered, unless you make it in Wave-Motion Cannon style. Also, opponents usually never care how many cards you draw, they'll not look for how to get rid of your drawing card, but rather they'll try to get rid of what you draw.
They won't because, when you destroy this card, you're going to have all of the resources to be able to win that turn. Also, wow this is broken. This can give you infinite sangans. Ban-worthy. You really can't balance this card unless you put a restriction on the numbers of counters that this can get, simply because this can do WAY too much crazy stuff simply because of the banishing effect. None will use up a solemn against "Pot of Avarice" for example. why? because they keep it to negate something that could turn the game upside down, Drawing does not turn the game upside down, as you would get those cards in the next turns anyway. (when not versus an OTK build) So if you negated the activation of a draw eff, you did nothing other than making a delay in your opponent's supplies. Marco Polo
I wasn't talking about nine, the chances of this staying on the field for nine turns are very low. Anyways, it shouldn't matter. Have you thought of making it in style of Wave-Motion Cannon? so every standby you can decide if you send it or not. Instead of waiting for the opponent.
As I was saying. When this card has accumulated a fair number of counters, your opponent will stop trying to get rid of it. Which will leave it free to accumulate as many counters, because your opponent destroying this while it has 5 counters could (and will probably) cost them the game. And if they killed it when it had just 1, or none at all, then well, one less MST to worry about.
