Oh the irony

That wasn't ironic.

That was just slightly retarded.

OT: I heard a story once, where a group of people were riding around on their bikes without helmets, to protest helmets. One of them flipped forward after hitting something, and hit his head on the ground. He died in the hospital.

Doctors say he would've lived if he was wearing a helmet.

I know this has nothing to do with this, but its BEAT.

Use "it's."

See, "its" is possessive. Unless you have an incomplete phrase. Either way, you've no right pestering others to bend to your view of conformism.

The prologue of "Romeo and Juliet" (act I) opens with "Two households, both alike in dignity, . . ." When you first read this, you may think that the two families are pretty dignified or honorable. As the play goes on, however, you realize that each family is violently competitive. They are similarly undignified.

Diggin' up the old English notes for that one.

Don't forget that the Pope tries to tell Romeo and Juliet to take things slow, yet all his suggestions speed up the story.
