The taliban already had a significant following in the area. The US funded them to drive out Russia, not paying attention to the fact that they were radicalists. It's a pretty simple concept.

also stop listing bad rappers it wont help your point

And my second post wasn't a double, for the record. Dreezy removed his response for some reason.

the rappers prove my point about good culture in america. and thats the mujahideen that drove russia out. the taliban was made as a back up plan when the soviet union failed, but we (Afghanistan) are going to come through, insha'allah.

Bad rappers don't make for good culture. At least name some decent ones.

You're splitting motivations into groups in order to dismiss even a scrap of blame for the actual people there. Once religious reform comes to the Middle East there will be claims that the Koran was a CIA creation as well. Pure propaganda.
[/quote]

I'm a muslim. why would I say that the Quran is a CIA creation? look, the american government made the taliban once the soviet union failed, and they use the media to portray muslims in general as bad people. fox news, cnn they're all telling lies and making biased views. if they hear a man got arrested for something who happens to be muslim, they say, "a muslim man was arrested for assault/murder/robbery/whatever, and is a suspected terrorist." but they don't do the same for a non-muslim person.

and u don't have to like my kind of rappers like immortal technique or eminem. but what's your idea of a good rapper? lil wayne? jay-z? rick ross?

However your post sounded like you were complaining *LOL My topic is practically complaining too" and it sucks how your people get the short end of the stick but to be honest the reason they do is because Muslims have made up the majority of Terrorists them and americans who become muslims and go nuts... how is america the best country? and its not arrogant, or culturally ignorant. some of it isn't. listen to immortal technique, or eminem, or the stereotype muslims are terrorists, listen to lupe fiasco.

the extremists aren't muslim. the taliban was made by the CIA from 1989-1992.

I'm referring to the stereotype of "Muslim = terrorist", with the reasoning that a Muslim is only a Muslim terrorist if they're already a terrorist. This is a discussion about stereotypes; that stereotype exists, regardless of incidental real life facts. Take it up with the people perpetuating the belief.

Because there were already radical roots in the areas and they still prevail because of the culture there. Sharia Law is a pretty good example. I'm just saying that people can't really admit to their own faults, so they're thrown onto the easiest target. The explanation I gave was the proper one; the US wouldn't of purposefully created the taliban when it caused more problems than the imperialist benefits theorists can create. If/when religious reform comes to the Middle East, that's why I'm guessing that the populace will blame either the roots or corruption of their faith, depending on how reform occurs, on the CIA and Western powers in general.

Depends on your source of news. FOX has clear negative bias, while most other stations are too restricted by the concept of political correctness to even comment on issues with a clear opinion.

No, good ones.

To the same or a lesser degree as the rest of the world in most parts. Anti-multiculturalism has an uneasy level of support in Europe(though there are some reasonable immigration restrictions mixed in with all of that) much higher than anything in America naturally contains many more cultures than other countries, in Asia xenophobia and racial beatings are comparatively much more common, and areas of South America had much more brutal histories in regards to slave trade(see: Brazil).

My eldest brother is lazy, likes white girls, has an illegitimate child with an ex, eats fried chicken, votes Democrat, and tried to live off welfare/unemployment.

For a self-hating black person, he's quite a nigga.
