Homosexual Marriage.

Gay Marriage to me has always been a Middle thing leaning towards No. I support Rights and Equals but it just Bothers me to see two Gay Men together. I'm not Homophobic as such but I have to turn my head away when I see them kissing. Holding hands fair enough. Feel free to be married and Adopt a Child but for the love of God, don't you dare try and flaunt it in front of everyone with your generic Big Gay Al from South Park voice and holding hands.

Why should heterosexual couples be allowed to flaunt their love, then? It would be equally as wrong.

OT: Homosexual marriage is okay because YOUR religion and what makes YOU comfortable doesn't and shouldn't govern how others live their lives by ANY and ALL means.

I'm going to try retaining faith in humanity and assume that you're being ironic, seeing as your avatar consists of 6 underage chibis, your sig has a Nurse Joy with boobs the size of a Chansey and a video featuring a girl explaining moe that then grabs another girls breasts and spins them about, about half of the cards you've made featured little anime girls, you much more posts than other people referencing your porn and sexual interests, and you've been banned before for throwing your anime CP onto this site. I wonder what your reaction would be to a gay version of yourself when apparently kissing between two people is enough to justify a denial of equal rights.

Well of course all those arguments are wrong, but I still stand by my original stance.

Get rid of legal marriage, replace with civil unions for everyone.

Getting married is no longer a matter of being legal or illegal, and you can register it if you wish to.

Uhm no please no.

Look, I don't want to say "I civil unioned my wife". f*** that. I want to say I married her for goodness sake.

So long as the civil unions were administered with legal equality you could say you married your wife, you just wouldn't need the government to validate that fact.

I'd turn my head away from your posts if I weren't transfixed by the horrors therein.

Considering that going around announcing "I married my wife" is stupid anyway, I don't see why it would be much of a problem.

Nobody should flaunt anything

Well, yes, but the phrasing he used made it seem as though he was saying "Homosexuals can't be publicly homosexuals, but heterosexuals can be publicly heterosexual." I'm honestly fine with people being in love in public. It really doesn't affect me that someone has a person that they're willing to be openly in love with.

Unnatural, despite the many other examples of Homosexuality in nature, in a wide variety of other animals such as Swans, Chimps, Sheep, Dogs, etc. ?
Disgusting in what way? I see little difference between homosexuality and heterosexuality, asides from the Genders taking part. Love is love; it's caused by the same endorphines and is just as real whether it's a man or a woman you're attracted to.

If two people are in love with each other, then no power should stop them from being married if so choose to.

People try to promote equality, or at least put a degree of equality on everyday life, and yet denying people a right to spend there life with there partner is still considered an acceptable thing. I just find it slightly funny at the immaturity of some people are the whole idea of Gays being wrong. They are people, calling them wrong, and an Abomonation is calling yourself the same. You would be long lost ancestors with a gay or lesbian, and you even have the same chemical proccess that causes you to fall in love. So why should a relationship between two people be treated differently between two others.

A couple of lesbian friends of mine had been friends since a really young age, and they feel in love. And despite the circumstances of there upbringings, and local community, and despite a handful of threats about it, they still went ahead and had a proper ceromony in a church for there civil partnership. And anyone who was there would day it was as touching as any wedding they had ever been to.

There is more I wish to say, but respecting the ground rules, I hold my tounge.

But seriously, I dunno what people don't get out of the phrase "free country." Sure, it may seem disgusting and weird, but that's just because it's different. However, that doesn't mean it's evil or unnatural or whatever bullsh*t people come up with whose only source is either the bible or their own orientation and opinion.

There's no real reason to like it or hate it. I support it because bashing it with little to no reason is totally unnecessary and rude.
