When this card is Normal Summoned, if your opponent controls a monster and you control no other cards, you can remove from play 2 "Nordic" monsters from your hand to Special Summon 2 "Einherjar Tokens" (Warrior-Type/EARTH/Level 4/ATK 1000/DEF 1000) in Defense Position.

So much potential, so poorly executed. I run 1 for fun in Nordics, it is a decent opening on Turn 2 if you can drop Odin and pretty much control from there, but the advantage you lose is very rarely worth it. If it didn't have to be 2 "Nordic" monsters, or was "Summoned" at all, it'd be better, I think.

Debris Dragon -> Valkyrie -> SS Doppelwarrior from hand

Synchro Orient/Iron Chain Dragon with Doppel, get two tokens

Valkyrie + token + token + Orient/Iron Chain Dragon for Odin

Problem?
Not at all by any means, but at the same time Debris is limited which doesn't make that a guaranteed combo.

Anime effect let it banish any cards. Of course.
Anime effect sent them to the grave. And allowed you to discard any number of cards. And didn't require you to have an empty field and your opponent a monster. The only way the anime version could be any more broken is if it set of Dark World effects.

Shame it got nerfed all the way to near-uselessness.
