Pokemon Cards (53/600+)

Yeap, it's another Pokemon card thread. I'll be using images from the official Pokemon TCG (found at pokebeach.com) unless otherwise stated. I know I've posted this before, but still... I will also be giving them all a Yu-Gi-Oh standard type, but also giving them all a secondary type of "Pokemon" to make it easier to make cards and things that affect them directly. I don't care if people don't like it, I'll be doing it anyway. I'm mostly just here looking for people to give me comments on my OCG, but your free to tell me anything about the set you want, just please don't nag about how bad the images are or the fact that it is technically using "fake types".

On a side note: Each region is posted in a different post, along with the Spell/Trap cards, so don't forget to scroll down further on this page to see more cards.
The Summoning or Setting of this card cannot be negated. When this card is Summoned, Spells, Traps, and Effect Monster effects cannot be activated. This card cannot be targeted by the effects of Spells, Traps or Effect Monsters. This card does not count toward your five Monster Card limit. This card cannot be the target of an attack. If this is the only monster on your side of the field, your opponent can attack your Life Points directly. When this card is summoned to the field, pick 1 Spell Card in your deck and place it face-up on the field, placing 99 counters on it. To activate that card, you must remove 1 counter. That card is not destroyed until all 99 counters are removed from the card. If Missingno is still on the field when the counters reach 0, place 99 counters on it again instead of destroying the card. For each turn this card is on the field, decrease the ATK and DEF of every card on your side of the field, in your hand, and in your deck by 1000 (excluding this card). If any cards are reduced to 0 ATK by this effect, remove them from play. If all of your monsters (excluding this card) are removed from play by this effect, you lose the duel.

Marco Polo: Out of every card you chose the most boring pokemons.
Anyways, the 1st card is too hardcore, so many useless stuff put together to make the worst headache.

That means...what exactly?

Cindy ♥s You: What is this. Get art work that hasn't been used on an actual card or in a game.

Sure, find me artwork that hasn't been used before and I will. I can't draw, and I don't steal from Deviantart, and as 90% of stuff on photobucket and imageshack are taken off of art websites (again, I don't steal from art sites) I can't use any of that, so what does that leave me with? Drawing my own (can't draw), taking from the anime, or taking from the official cards. I'll take from the cards, since I'm likely to also be making special anime versions of some cards which will have pictures from the anime itself.

Yairnet: Ignore all the bad comments your cards are good even if you took pics from the original pokemon card game

Nah, I won't ignore them, I'll reply to them, knowing they'll never check the topic again, and thus, because of that, they force me to ignore them because they don't care to explain themselves.

Side Note: Added Weedle to Arbok (13-24)

That means you actually take time to make a few interesting pokemons instead of making the most basic and useless ones.
(God, who ever wanted to see Bulbasaur or Charizard when entering this thread?)

Atleast you brought arbok in.

And the first card, is hardcore - made out of a huge and useless effect, to make my head hurt.

Marco Polo: Oh, so you just want specific Pokemon? Well, I can help you with that eventually. I started with Pokemon 1 because...well...why not? If I'm gonna do all 649 Pokemon plus spell and trap cards, why not start with the first and work my way up the list? Most of the Pokemon have long effects due to the fact that half of their effect is evolution. The rest is either a move unique to them, or their in-game ability. That's what I'm going off of to make these cards. If you don't like it? I can't help you there.

Posted Pikachu to Nidoking (25-34)

EDIT: Scratch that, I've dropped Nidoking and Nidoqueen until I can fix them...not sure what I was planning with those cards...

EDIT 2: Fixed Nidoking and Nidoqueen and gave them effects based off of Earthquake and Megahorn.

why are the nidorans are in the same card?
why didn't you seperate them to 2 different cards? not that it is a bad thing or anything you know i'm just asking
Because aside from gender and slight changes to their looks, there isn't much of a difference, and later evolutions also rely on gender like the Nidos do, but aren't separate, so I stuck them together.

If some are underpowered, then let me know which ones and how to fix them so they're more balanced ^^

I think Charizard, Blastoise, and Venasaur are really underpowered, and some cards like Pidgeot and Arbok are a little underpowered. Just my opinion.
Well, I need to know what you think need to be done to make them more balanced. Knowing the cards helps, but in my mind, my cards are balanced. If they're not, I need to know how to power them up or weaken them.

Also, Jigglypuff to Vileplume added (39-45)

Ok, for Venasaur, Charizard, and Blastoise, I think they're attacks should all be about 2900 or 3000, and I think that their effects should be for the one turn, but they can conduct their battle phase next turn instead of waiting two turns, if that makes sense

Hmm...that's true, 3000 at least for Charizard would probably be good. I'll think about it. As for them taking 2 turns...I didn't think they did...
