Bob the Rainicorn Posted September 16, 2011 Report Share Posted September 16, 2011 Well, I leave my statement up for debate. if there is a deck that can bring it out in a fashion where they don't lose advantage (1 card), then perhaps it should. Thinking back on DSF, it was outrageously easy to summon, and was one of the contributing factors for Blackwings dominating. evilfusion Posted September 16, 2011 Report Share Posted September 16, 2011 Well, Dark Strike could do a ridiculous amount of damage. 2600 ATK, 200 burn x a level, and it's a generic Level 7 Synchro. Therefore, it on its own could deal 4000 damage, and if you Tribute other monsters, that's even more burn. It was easily dropped with Summoner Monk and Rescue Cat. Volcasaurus needs 2 Level 5s, can only use its effect once per turn on a face-up monster your opponent controls, and can't attack directly if it does. It's an amazing card, but it's not quite that good. Volcasaurus is probably the best Rank 5 Xyz in the game right now, although I am fond of Tiras. This isn't good enough to be a Rank 5. It's underwhelming, because while it does have mass protection for Ninjas, including itself, it just isn't easy enough to play. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
