So just because they harm no one means you shouldn't listen to other peoples requests? If, hypothetically, I were to run around shouting all my beliefs and someone asked me politely to stop because it annoyed them, I shouldn't stop because I'm not hurting anyone?

To a lower extent, if you saw 100 people with a haircut that you dislike, which happened to be the same haircut for all of them, why should they change it just because you don't like it?

Oh yeah, it's totally different. It's ALWAYS different when you're defending something, isn't it?

In any case, do you find us hating Bronies in any way annoying?

Yes, but whether you continue it or not is up to you. Personal liberties ftw.

OT: I've never made a pony reference in my life, but I may start in honor of this thread.

Not really, I'm just here because I like debates where both sides truly think they are the correct ones.

They are, insteresting to follow.

You guys don't just walk around with a "haircut." You flaunt it and talk about it in every other conversation.

If you were JUST fans, whatever. I'm fine with it. But going into a random post on the forum, and see a bronie reference in a place it doesn't belong, obviously I won't enjoy it. And I'm not gonna keep quiet just to keep you people happy.

Besides, it shouldn't be any different for 100 people than it is for 1 person.

You're still gonna hate a gang of 100 white supremacists as much as you hate 1 if you're against racism.

With that logic, I could say that gay people shouldn't flaunt their homosexuality because it annoys me. But I don't because they can act however they want.

If people could 'act however they want,' I hope you realize how annoying as s*** the world would be. Yes, I love homosexuals. A good friend of mine is one. But if a homosexual walks over to me, flirts with me, and tries to make a move on me, I'd expect them to stop if I asked them to.

The situation I replied to and the situation I wrote have virtually the same structure and principles. How come the answers with which one of them attempts to corner the other side are so different?

You don't see bronies directly refering to you in random comments, which would be a perfect example of forcing you to like it. What we do is, in fact, no different than the "haircut" situation.

-Do what you want, you are the one "not enjoying" after all. On this side we have nothing to loose, and we aren't even being as out of control as you make it out to be to begin with.

So your argument is:

Because we're not insane, we shouldn't take anyone else's thoughts or opinion into consideration.

Come on. Seriously. Saying, "I'd appreciate it if it was toned down a little" was what I said in the beginning. If you say tell me I'm going too far, then keep in mind, I was originally trying to be polite about it.
