Really, it will always be Level 4 (unless it's banished, but that's not worth of discussion atm). Below average attack gainer that doesn't inflict battle damage. All Battle Damage involving this card become 0. For the card, I think you should say "Once Per Turn" to make it balanced. And for the "This card cannot be destroyed by battle. gimmepie Posted September 24, 2011 Report Share Posted September 24, 2011 I think that hunter should be able to deal damage otherwise it's pretty weak. I like the effects treating monsters as level 5 because of the way it corresponds with Valkyria. IMO that makes it more of a threat as there is always a chance he'll be your only monster whilst your opponent has two. If the reason for it not being able to deal normal damage is not as a drawback I don't see why you would intentionally weaken a monster. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's too slow to give it the no battle damage clause, even if it does inflict battle damage while attacking directly. And no, Soul Eater doesn't "set up" Valkyria, because Hunter is always treated as a Level 4, meaning he in fact, isn't a Level 5 monster while on the field. The only way Hunter sets up for other Souls is if you useit with Night of the 100 Souls, and that card already has better targets than Hunter. Caretaker: Good idea for an effect. Since the card you special summoned is only on the field for a short time I would have made it so rather than have the 3 turn waiting period to use the effect there was a limit on the attack of the special summoned monster. The way it's done is fine that's just how I'd do it. Task Master: Generally well balanced, good effect. Pact Maker: Good effect, the only thing I don't really like is the name... is there a word that means the same as Pact Maker? Giant Soul Beast: One tribute and the ability to avoid that by banishing a card in your graveyard [b]and[/b] 2500 attack. It seems a little bit OP'd.
