Why do people always bash people with New Effects

The point of this site is to make new cards and possibly new effects so why do people bash others just because they don't play directly by OCG and stray a little or decide to make new effects and some people start saying Here is OCG now change it to this or you suck and this card is the world's worst card how come people can't understand that OCG on this site is contradictive to YCM's purpose.

I am from an english speaking country i just have a crazy keyboard and I have seen good card effets that are no longer here because of them being new effects and the effects were well balanced

This. It's not disliking a card that's different, but the way it's presented.

And if you mean a "different" effect that's awful, well I dunno. You're gonna need some examples.

OCG makes things understandable. Like I once saw a card that said something like "this card fuses 2 dragons in the fires of hell" or something like that. How would you know what to do if you play that?

Because for two reasons.

1) It's called Realistic Cards Section for a reason.

2) It's called the Internet for a reason. There are a lot of people that are not going to like change.

People correct OCG because saying what you want to say and getting it across are important. Once you start denying those fixes with no reason other than "OCG doesn't matter" you are just putting a giant sign on you ass saying "Flame me now!"

"Effect" and "OCG"! Now synonymous!

No, you see, the effect is what the card does, the OCG is how you write it.

Just because you are making a new effect doesn't mean there isn't a better way for you to say it. For example:

You can put this card from your Graveyard to the Removed from Play area to destroy all monsters your opponent controls that have an attack less than this monster.

Sounds a lot better when rewritten as:

If this card is in your Graveyard, you can Banish this card to destroy monsters your opponent controls with less attack than this monster.

OCG isn't supposed to change the effect to a different effect, just make it more legible. If somebody's fix does that, kindly let them know how it does.

I don't know, or want to know OCG. But I can appreciate the fact that it makes the card not look retarded. I will, however, agree that minor details could go overlooked.

Now that is new is it not? But it's terrible. Nobody wants to lose a monster just for Life Points when that monster could probably help get a bigger monster out.
