evilfusion Posted October 5, 2011 Report Share Posted October 5, 2011 The deck beat Yugi because Rafael is a topdecking GOD. Turn 1, he drew Guardian Treasure and no monsters. The two cards he drew included Backup Gardna, which in addition to having 2200 DEF, was crucial to his deck strategy. On his next turn, he drew both Gravity Axe and Grarl. Later, he drew both Rod of Silence and Kay'est. Due to Card of Sanctity, he got the Spell that activates from his hand to negate attacks. He then topdecked Limit Tribute to stop Catapult Turtle. Then there was Nightmare Binding in his next draw, to stop Catapult from zeroing his LP. THEN he got Shrink to prevent being zero-ed again. Then he drew both Sword and Eatos for game.
