---------------
Just ordered my 2013 class ring. Treble Clef on one side, school logo on other. Amethyst (Ultralite). Imperial cut (stereotypical diamond shape). Initials engraved on the inside. Silver. Antique finish (meaning logos will be on black background). I even got 'Atman' put above the treble clef. XD Although, I'm not one for peppy school ceremonies. And knowing my school, the ring ceremony will be loud. Discuss Class Rings and Ring Ceremonies. If you can't get a ring yet, discuss what your ring might look like.
Ieyasu Tokugawa
The ring was pointless imo. Spent $400 on a piece of metal that's sitting on my window sill not getting any use.
---------------
I thought the same. Though, with such a nice metal, shiny Amethyst (substitute), and my f***ing ALIAS on it, I might wear it more than just these last one and a half years. Ieyasu Tokugawa
Somewhere between $300 and $400. All I know is it was kind of a waste :/
Legend Zero
I didn't buy one....and neither did half my class. Looking back, no wonder the faculty always said we were the worst class in spirit.
Akira
I'd never even heard of a class ring before this thread. Must be a U.S. tradition~
Yang Xiao-Long
I have a silver-elite with platinum ring from Jostens. Satin finish, with a clarinet on one side and a cross on the other. I have my name over the cross and "2011" over the clarinet. I got amethyst with it, since it's my birthstone, and got the sunburst cut on it. Bought it for about $500. I bought it during my Junior year in high school; I'm now a college Freshman. I wear it everyday.
---------------
I guess it's a turn on for those with pep, and a turn off for those without. In any case, I don't really care about the whole 'school spirit' bs. I just wanted the ring. :

Just a random day where everyone dress up as rabbits and raid the school instead :>

bury the year
I have one. Turquoise with my school's logos on it. Aside from my watch, it's the only piece of jewelry I wear daily; probably because it isn't too bulky.
Lonk
Got my ring early in 2011. It's White Lustrium with an Amethyst in the middle and my city on the side saying 2011.
