This as a card doesn't break a whole mechanic. I can't really explain it much better than that. It's like how Synchros broke Rescue Cat, but Cat didn't break synchros. Evolkaiser Lagia is another case of why this card is broke. You open with this Turn 1, and you can use priority to dodge Effect Veiler (TCG priority is ALSO what breaks this card) and similar, bring out 2 Kabazauls or Sabersaurus or whatever, Xyz for Lagia, and watch your opponent -1 themselves or worse trying to kill this (1 person had to use 2 Smashing Ground) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you Normal Summon this in the OCG, the opponent can use Torrential, Book of Moon, or Veiler BEFORE you can activate its Ignition Effect. You can't chain Veiler to the effect activating either way. Banishing it was meant to avoid Graveyard spamming, and Leviair wouldn't be as bad if it weren't for the TCG having Tour Guide. Then it would have been more fair.
