But the card is still horrible. There are sooo many better draw options in Blue for every format minus limited. Magic overhyped this card so players are overhyping it. In playtesting, drawing a card and then later drawing a card usually isn't as good as other 1U instants could do in that deck slot.

It is actually MUCH better...than you think...Drawing a Card with the Flashback Ability makes it so you have resources aviable once you have occupied all the card in your hand...that's a pretty big deal...considering that hidden advantage is just there waiting to pop up and it's too good...

On the Other hand what you want to do is dig into the deck faster...or have some sort of control of your next draws...Run Ponder or Forbidden Alchemy before Divination...
