The Opponent either sets up their OTK and lets you draw like 8 cards, or they refuse to Special Summon and you end up -1ing yourself. Lol@The trade-off. BehindTheMask Posted October 15, 2011 Report Share Posted October 15, 2011 Maxx "C" is a very good card against a lot of decks, but it really hurts Agents a lot. I've changed how I use this against agents. When I first used this card, I would always chain it to Venus' effect the first time. I would draw a card, and my opponent wouldn't go any further. Then I'd try to take care of Venus, and hopefully leave them with a dead ball on field. Now, however, I will chain it to the second activation of Venus, because they now cannot go Venus ->500 ->500-> GGG with other another Venus. This either forces them to go into GGG and I draw a second card, or they stop, and have 2 balls on field, and another dead ball in the deck, along with dead Venus. However, this does depend on the hand. I dont like it against DW though. I find it is outclassed by Crow against them, as you need to get rid of Grapha.I like it against Karakuri, because its the stone cold nutz against them. Id find room to at least main 2 copies. If the opponent can pull off the win this turn and you didn't draw into Tragoedia or Gorz, then hope to side well in the next round of the match.
