I am not hard-set on maintaining only GB in his deck, so any card changes are welcome, as long as GB remains the focus of the deck 'The Return of the Gladiators'. Ieyasu Tokugawa Posted November 17, 2011 Report Share Posted November 17, 2011 Andal is worthless outside of Rescue Rabbit. Swapping into it gives you no bonus, and you can't swap it out. Alexander is bad because 1: It can only be summoned by 1 monster and 2: Dimacari is bad (explained later) Bestiari, yea your good there. Darius is good unless you want to go Prisma Glads, in which you should run 2. (and i recommend Prismaglads) Dimacari is just a double attacker. If it had more attack maybe, but otherwise it just takes up space. Equest would be amazing @ 2, if you were running War Chariot, which you should have @ 2 anyway. Hoplumos is pointless because it's just a wall, and you probably won't be able to swap it out because you can't attack much with such low attack, and your opponent sure isn't going to attack it unless they would kill it. With Lanista, the only Glad you'd want to copy is Bestiari, which you don't want banished. Laquari is god. You could knock it down to 2, but it's still a good beatstick. Fine on Murmillo since it's a +1 on summon. Bestiari already takes care of Octavius's draw, and you can't Normal Summon Octavius. Bad. Retiari is good cuz screw Grave setup. Samnite has to kill a monster by battle to get it's RotA effect, and 1600 ATK isn't going to get over much. Secutor, well I never understood it but people seem to say it's good, so fine. Sparticus relies on Hoplumus. Hoplumus isn't good. Yup. Torax looses field setup cuz it doesn't tag out. I'd rather get a Laquari than a random draw. Tygerius once again doesn't tag out, and you also don't want to throw your Glads in the grave with anything outside of Prisma. Test Ape isn't used much since it needs to be destroyed by battle, which is slow. Test Tiger needs to be run at 3. Prisma and Stratos maxxed for Prisma Glads. Most Glad support is crap outside of Proving Ground and War Chariot. I myself tech a copy of Defensive Tactics, though it's a Tech for a reason. If you're going with Prismaglads, 3 A Hero Lives. All in all, you should have about 15-17 monsters total and about 12 Traps. Rest are spells. Go for staples like MST and Heavy, Reborn etc.EDIT: Oh, and because I forgot, Extra should have 3 Gyzarus (cuz it's the best fusion and weird stuff can happen in a duel), 3 Essedari (for swapping a Murmillo and Retiari or something like that for a 2500 beater), and 1 Heraklinos (3 materials hurts, but it definitely helps in a pinch) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
