FindingTheEverlight
Lore: When this monster is is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, pay 500 Life Points to return this monster to your hand. Eh, it's not the best, but it's something. The pic may be overused, idk.
Oh My Anubis!
It's alright, I suppose. I can't find anything really terribly that bad about it, so I'll just keep it there. It's decent. Geez I say that a lot. Maybe it could be my catchphrase. Anyway, the picture, meh... I don't really care that it may seem a little common. Common is a negative word, use the word "popular" instead. Not-so-Radiant Arin
To the above poster: <Rating on a card's picture -.- OT: I like the recycling effect.....a lot actually. For a small price, you can keep this card out of your Graveyard and in your hand where it should belong. Combine it with Treeborn Frog or some other monster that can keep Special Summoning itself and you'll have control over the field (though it's not quite comparable to simply using it over Monarchs). FindingTheEverlight
Well, thanks guys for the positive feedback. I tried to make something that's been done before, but seems new and fresh. And yeah, I feared that the pic would be overused.
ragnarok1945
for the type, it's Winged-Beast, not Winged Beast, there's no hyphen 500 LP pay just to return it to your hand? That's way too cheap a cost not to mention the fact it's too recyclable because all you said is destroyed and sent to the graveyard not only did you not say HOW it has to be destroyed and sent to the graveyard you didn't even say WHO has to do the destroying
crystalfeet
Hmmm not bad for a card but i would prefer it return to my field say with lesser atk. It is a phoenix after all. But that's just me . 8/10.

Think, you still need a tribute in order to summon it, that's it's drawback.
ragnarok1945
does the card "Cost Down" mean anything to you?
crystalfeet
Ragna, i think he has got it right linking to the modern version of the game. We old school boys and girls forget that the times are changing. lol's to that i am still 19 and i sound old.
ragnarok1945
you really think no one uses Cost Down anymore then?
crystalfeet
Cost down comes at a price too. if you use it consistently you can't use any other card other than that phoenix.
ragnarok1945
yeah yeah I know about the discarding a card effect, but still
crystalfeet
Sin, try to keep it on the field with -500 ATK/DEF though.
ragnarok1945
that'd make it REALLY weak and easy to rid off
crystalfeet
No need to over work this Ragna i actually find the card lacking. Still better than just returning to hand requiring a trib to summon it again. It could be like Helios just loosing ATK than gaining some.
ragnarok1945
maybe me, I just feel at 2100 at least it can hold against most lv4s and enough lv5s
crystalfeet
Lol it still is lv 5 and that has it's pluses.
ragnarok1945
maybe so, but it's a WEAK lv5 it was among the reasons I felt Different Dimension Dragon was crap at lv5 as 1200 atk can't do ANYTHING
crystalfeet
it can be synchro/xyz food that's good enough and it can defend your lp almost infinitely. So that's all a plus to me.Considering he adds my effect

FindingTheEverlight
This is going to sound noobish, but I doubt I'm going to change anything about it. The effect is pretty cut and dry, and I don't think it's overpowered in any way. Plus, I think cost Cost Down slows down any deck it's in.

OT: Card is fine as it is, ragnarok is just having those "I'm bad at this game" moments.
