It's alright, I suppose. I can't find anything really terribly that bad about it, so I'll just keep it there. It's decent. Geez I say that a lot. Maybe it could be my catchphrase. Anyway, the picture, meh... I don't really care that it may seem a little common. Common is a negative word, use the word "popular" instead.

OT: I like the recycling effect.....a lot actually. For a small price, you can keep this card out of your Graveyard and in your hand where it should belong. Combine it with Treeborn Frog or some other monster that can keep Special Summoning itself and you'll have control over the field (though it's not quite comparable to simply using it over Monarchs).

for the type, it's Winged-Beast, not Winged Beast, there's no hyphen

500 LP pay just to return it to your hand? That's way too cheap a cost

not to mention the fact it's too recyclable

Hmmm not bad for a card but i would prefer it return to my field say with lesser atk. It is a phoenix after all.

Those aren't really flaws, more of pluses than anything. Think, you still need a tribute in order to summon it, that's it's drawback.

Cost down comes at a price too. if you use it consistently you can't use any other card other than that phoenix.

it was among the reasons I felt Different Dimension Dragon was crap at lv5 as 1200 atk can't do ANYTHING

it can be synchro/xyz food that's good enough and it can defend your lp almost infinitely. So that's all a plus to me.

This is going to sound noobish, but I doubt I'm going to change anything about it. The effect is pretty cut and dry, and I don't think it's overpowered in any way. Plus, I think cost Cost Down slows down any deck it's in.
