evilhorus
I ran into one (I was alone of course) on a street corner last Monday, and still remember his exact words. "Our community has three problems, which has made it a living hell. 1. Homosexuality 2. Sexual activity before marriage 3. Lesbianism" Since I was the only one there he stopped after I was about 10 feet from him. And yes, I do know that number 3 is the same as 1, but that's what he said.
UGH I am SO happy I was not present. All caps rage would ensue. This is another reason why I hate many religions. Please don't take offense, I don't hate people that practice it. LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
The irony that a topic about science (I think, I'm honestly too lazy to make sure) has turned into one about religion makes me laugh. Resident Fascist
Religion is fine as long as you only have it as a guide and not let it control your life. I'm open minded about it, people want to be religious, let them. People want to be scientific, let them. As long as you're not harming anyone or their ideals, I think it's fine to be who you are. I honestly can't believe an afterlife at all.

Shradow
You gotta remember, ironically the most intolerant people out there are the most religious, usually. People pervert the meaning of stuff like the Bible (whatever its true meaning is, because I have no idea) to suit their own needs, and belittle (or worse) people who don't share their beliefs. Stuff like that is one of the reasons I turned atheist. I'm only 17 but I feel like I'm in a different generation than both my parents and people my age... And that FB quote made me lol. Resident Fascist
It's sort of funny how a country so addicted to sex is so stuck-up on censoring it. Luckily, the UK isn't the same. We atleast arn't as much of a sex crazed country as the US. Though to be honest the world is sex crazed and has been for years. Blaming all problems on sex is silly. So, by their logic... Reproducing the race is pointless? I'm sorry, this is a lot to take in all at once. Sex isn't the problem, it's peoples lack of motivation to do anything, I mean I want to get a job as soon as I can. I'm not poor for my age, but I still want a job, just to do something. Or I could sit around and blame something for all the problems I have. With the whole world being sex crazed, it easily gives ammo for someone to whine at others. If you don't want a job, but do something for the community or something, fine. If you sit on your ass all day doing nothing and whining, no. Whooves, it's Ragna the Bloodedge. Same guy in my Siggy tag thing. He's the "protaganist" of BlazBlue. Resident Fascist
I once wanted to move to America. Until I realised what an horrible idea it was. England for life. Like, I always prepare for the worst to happen. Some people say that's sad. It makes you more happy as an indiviual because you feel better when things go better than expected. I told you my rant would be long, so more ranting time. If you're again saying derp people should be married before they have sex because derp and then ranting that they should be married to prevent aciddents or something, that's just flawed LOLgic that proves you're being daft. As far as I'm concerned, you can't make your girlfriend/love interest/wife pregnant by mistake. If you have sex, expect it to happen. People who try to make comparisons for no reason also make me mad. Stop comparing things to say they're evil. Your definition of evil is different to others. My definition? Something that harms someone or something else. Physicially, mentally whatever. Note that most scientific processes are hated on by religion. Again, why should you hold back who you are? It makes almost no sense and is illogical in almost everyway.

Its just another double standard which doesn't make sense, but the general populace does it to make them feel good about themselves. OT: Is it just me, or has there not been a lot of scientific research done in America recently? The things I read I usually from Europe or Asia, in regarding to discoveries and such. Tentacruel
I wouldn't say that we're really stuck up about censoring sex, (we are little), as much I would say we're overly lenient with violence. Anyway, I've noticed the majority of you are saying, "Look at this guy, he's so stupid because he's imposing X opinion on me when really Y opinion is correct." The fact that you don't agree with someone's opinion doesn't make their crazy ranting about it right or wrong. It would be just as retarded (and a hilariously ironic) to stand on the corner with a sign screaming about how religion is evil and should be destroyed. Also I seriously lol'd at the 1. Homosexuality 2. Pre-marital sex 3. Lesbianism Can this guy count? It's like something you'd hear the stupid character say from a cartoon.
