Lunar's favorite names: Ryan, Victor, Luna, Catherine.

I've just been doing some research on my own name and I found some of the history behind it quite fascinating! [size=1] ...Though I was named after my father's best friend in High School, and that is a little depressing at times.[/size]

Names are basically a title, imo. It is either something you're proud of, indifferent to, or hate. Useful little buggers when trying to distinguish people from a crowd.


...You know, unless it's like a Steve Convention or something.

But the most interesting parts of names are what they mean. I love looking up names and their meanings.

Mine literally means "Christ Bearer".


Just looked up my middle names.

One means "Remembrance of the Lord", while the other means "Flowing from the Dark River"

...woah that sounds cool.

Joshua: Anglicized form of Yeshua, Hebrew - Yeshua is "God Saves"/"God is Salvation"; Jesus' Hebrew name was Yeshua.
Adams: Hebrew - Son of Adam

I'd be more hesitant, but my name is so damn generic, you'll never find me =/

Favorite names:
Amelia: Germanic form of Amalia, Hebrew - German means "Work"/"Industrious"; Hebrew means "Work of the Lord"
Jesse: Anglicized form of Yishai, Hebrew - "Gift"/"Wealthy" (Gpa's name)
Isaac: Anglicized form of Yitzchak, Hebrew - "He will Laugh"

I did not know Amelia was Hebrew until now O_o

Apparently I love Hebrew names.

I've seen like 2 Jordens, and 0 Jordons. I'e seen many, MANY Jordans.
