It's kind of tiring to reconstruct all the parts though and keep track on who wrote what, so I'm letting the post stay as it is. If you stick with only the middle part and we find someone else (Twilight Sparkle or IDK-who) who hasn't finished either, then you can be paired up. If you have a lot to around the Christmas days, I don't want to keep you up though. You can submit the whole rest later too. [/quote] To be honest, I may have been biased since my 7th Grade teacher made me hate A Christmas Carol after spending a whole semester on it. Have the same emotion about Thomas Hardy, Lord of the Flies, and almost all Shakespeare. It just seemed a good idea at the time and I got very carried away with it as a light-hearted spoof... thing. It is unfortunate that it has not gone down well with those it was passed onto; partly because I hate doing anything badly and giving readers a bad read; and partly because my other shorts for this, Halloween and random postings weren't that great either. Which is annoying when you're starting writing your next full length fic (see below. Not meant as a cheap advert, I am genuinely worried about my writing form now) ... Edit: After staring at what I've got to write the ending for for a few hours, I'm going to have to admit there is NO way I will be able to get my entry in until late Boxing Day at the very earliest. Because from in *checks watch* a few hours I will be pretty much out of my house and away from my computer constantly, with work and visiting family for birthday and xmas and what not, and the only thing I'll be doing at home is grabbing the odd 3 hours of sleep. Priorities. Sorry. Will keep story in mind and hopefully have inspiration in that time so will be able to make something on Monday night/Tuesday latest. Been really busy over the holidays as you can all imagine (well okay, work was easy, but couldn't really write there) plus inspiration was hard. I don't really want to do horror writing at xmas because, well, its xmas. Also quite annoyed that my horror writing seems to be better for xmas challenge than it was for the Halloween challenge.
