Also, wasn't there an FTK based around this card?
evilfusion
Yeah, the FTK involved Makyura (banned) or Temple of the Kings (also banned) to use a lot of Draw traps to get the 15 cards in the Grave and then use this, making your opponent have 0 cards in deck before their turn. HSektor
Could be at @1 just for the lulz...as ~King Crouton~ pointed, that card isn't THAT bad those days. Also isn't possible to FTK with it anymore...i guess.
Sleepy
Loved using Fiend Comedian with it. I either: -Filled my Graveyard requirement twice as fast (the most meh use). -Emptied my Deck of 15 more cards, then used Exchange of the Spirit to get it all back (not AS good nowadays as it was in the days but still would serve some purpose) -Banished my opponent's Graveyard = auto-win. I think card would still be pretty abusable nowadays. There's still OTK possibility with a bunch of Deck thinning plays (One Day of Peace, Upstart, Pot of Duality, Toon Table of Contents, Card Destruction, Hand Destruction, etc) That said, I'm not sure how much of a thread it would actually be meta-wise nowadays if at 1. It sounds somewhat like more of a "needs Deck dedication" and "easily sided against" type of card.
wiithepeople
KAIBA: My turn! I activate my Crush Card Virus, leaving you with no monsters to attack me with. And now Virus Cannon, send her magic cards to the graveyard! Hah! Now do you understand why so many people love me, even though I'm the biggest dick in this entire show? It's because I'm Seto freakin' Kaiba! Accept no substitutes; I just ruined your entire deck in a few measly turns, and now it's just a matter of time before I destroy you with the very card you gave to me, Obelisk the Tormen- ISHIZU: (interrupting) Exchange of Spirit! KAIBA: Exchange of what now? ISHIZU: Now we must swap the cards in our decks with the cards in our Graveyards, leaving me with all the cards I need, and you, Kaiba, with only six. KAIBA: (pause) FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- (Mokuba is in the control room watching "Eden: The Zhang Chronicles") ZHANG: You my Wang, G? WANG: Yes, I am Colonel Wang. ZHANG: Can I touch you? (Canned Laughter) MOKUBA: Hahahahahaha! It's funny because "wang" means "penis"! KAIBA: (On computer) -UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- MOKUBA: Oh no, Seto's in danger! I must save him! To the Mokuba Mobile! YAMI: (thinking) I wonder how that milkshake's doing. MOKUBA: VROOOOOM Mokuba Mobile away! YAMI: There isn't a Mokuba Mobile. KAIBA: -UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- MOKUBA: Big brother! Are you okay? KAIBA: -UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! Mokuba! She's crippled my deck! What the hell do I do now? MOKUBA: Kick her in the nads! KAIBA: She doesn't have those things! MOKUBA: In that case I'm all out of options! KAIBA: Thanks, Mokuba. As always, you've been a big help. MOKUBA: No problem, bro.

People would test out new decks and most likely a new Exchange deck would find its way into the meta. I think it's more of a "what if" that keeps this banned. .Rai
Exchange of the Spirit FTK is by far one of the best decks in Traditional. And everyone would either be running Lightsworns, Turbo, or anti-Exchange of the Spirit if this came back.
