Fusion X. Denver
Today I donated a pint of blood at my school for the second time ever. Arm's still numb, but I feel good about helping out. Not sure if that counts as charitable, but either way, discuss charitable things you've done for your community. Althemia
I donate to some homeless people whenever I can, hoping that maybe they're different and won't spend the moneys on drugs or the such. Never know, could change someone's life.
Shradow
I did volunteer to work at a company that gives food to the needy. But then again, that was for free Disney World tickets...
Fusion X. Denver
I donate to some homeless people whenever I can, hoping that maybe they're different and won't spend the moneys on drugs or the such. Never know, could change someone's life.
That's pretty cool, I usually like to leave a dollar for them if I see one on the street. But yeah, it's sad when they don't use their money properly. A friend of mine was serving at a soup kitchen and saw a homeless woman with an iPhone. .___. King of Games
Got roped into donating 20$ a month to mental-health research. Did donate blood once in Highschool. Partly to find out what my boold-type is, and partly for free food. Turns out i'm a universal donor.
Darth Revan of the Sith
Charity is pointless... However I do it as well. I am not sure if this counts as charity but I funded the rebels in Lybia to overthrow Ghaddafi. It wasn't much but it was useful to an extent. I am constantly trying to donate in anyway I can to help out Darfur. What they are going through there is hell on earth. What annoys me the most about some people is that some of them like to be snobby about that sh*t and constantly feel their a hero because they put 20$ in a McDonalds charity bin. He didn't help for sh*t so he should have shut up.
Clair
I've donated blood every year that I could, and three out of the four times, I passed out. ><; Good for you, Fuse. <
Hydra of Ages
I donate blood whenever I'm allowed. I've lost a bunch of family members to cancer, and chemotherapy patients take a large amount of blood to keep alive, so it's really the least I could do. I also work in a soup kitchen during the winter. That's about it, though- I'm dissatisfied with most charitable organizations, so I don't donate money regularly. CrystalCyae
My mother used to be a blood donor. Then they told her that her blood had too much iron or something, so they wouldn't take it. Which I find kinda bullshit, but meh. I don't really have much to offer, though I often lug bags of books out to school, whee we give them to the school crossing lady. She works at a store that sells stuff cheap, so she puts the stuff we give her there. So I'm giving poorer people entertainment. I'm proud. I'm also generally willing to donate money. Like those guide dog puppy research things, I always used to drop coins in the boxes. And when anyone in my family asks (except my bro) I'll give them money to use for something. As long as they eventually pay back what they owe, as a returned act of kindness and respect.
Cin
Volunteer at a Charity shop atleast 9 hours a week (been 13 hours Dec) , 2 hours a week at Primary school. I do donate Blood (have for 7 years), but with their 4 month wait after piercings I can't go until the end of Jan. (I had my helix done and when there wasn't a date close to the 4 months, I went to get my lobe done).

Fusion X. Denver
@Clair-Thanks, apparently water makes all the difference. DRINK DAMMIT D< @Rag-They wouldn't let me do my left arm because a vein only showed up in my right :T Like I said, drinking water makes all the difference, since they surface your veins or something. Darth Revan of the Sith
Most of the charities I do revolve around money. I refuse to ever donate blood. Never have, never will. I do charitable things though. Just not blood donation.

Cin
Different protocals. I have to go with whatever arm has the best vein, sometimes that can take a while, but once it get's started it doesn't take long.
