I'm not saying draining is better than dimensional prison, that would be stupid since DP obviously has a more powerful effect. What I am saying is if my opponent has a 2500 monster, that I know I can easily kill next turn, I'll take the LP gain. Also your opponent never thinks to negate draining shield, they do for prison. I'm not asking you to agree with me and I'm not saying that the cards you have suggested are worse, I have already said that dimensional prison is more powerful. This is just the way I view things.
