Blake
Actually, from what was used and from what I have seen, Scout is pretty good. Is there actual proof that Scout is terrible? LolmhavinganlolYCMargumentwithoneofmyfriends
The fact it locks down SSing and such when you could do so much more with a turn that herpderp tribute? .Nu-13
Scout is beyond terrible for the reason it requires an empty backrow. THAT'S the main problem with it.
Good Steelswarm deck has 2 Tribute monsters, maybe 3. Girastag, Moth, maybe Mantis I've seen as a tech. No more than 5 total. With the Verz Xyz, you can do so much more than just Tribute summon once. Even if you say using the extra is bad, depending on a SS locking Treeborn is WORSE. Lonk
Even then, it is pretty easy to keep an empty backrow. Only thing that can clog, however, is Solemn Warning. If you can keep the consistency of the backrow up with chainable cards, then you can successfully play Scout.

Scout is a decent card on itself, but does its intended job horribly.
Legend Zero
Caller, Sential, Ripples, CotH, SS tributes, and TGU is basically the whole deck. Scout isn't that bad, just unneeded. This card could see play in Steelswarms, but I wouldn't run it at more than 2.
