JadenxAtemYAOI
I'm sure some of us remember our first days on this site. Some of us were cute and cuddly. Some us weren't. Some of us were idiots that became smart. Some that were already smart. Some of us that are still idiots. I went from using character decks like Atem to trying to use tier decks and failing. Tried burn and became successful then tried tier again and succeeded. I admit i'm still an idiot in card debates but at least you guys taught me one thing. Character decks suck. How much have you changed since you first joined? How has this site changed your life?
CMRenji
[s]I remember when I was just a lad...[/s] I remember when I first joined, and I remember how much of a little newbie I was. XP I had a pokemon splice avatar, made poor cards, and didn't post anywhere besides RC. Now I have joined some clubs, learned more about other shiz, and met a lot more people around the forums. In fact, I remember when I made a similar thread a while back: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/205792-from-noob-to-now/ And I was still quite a noob when I made it. ~Marluxia~
I pissed a lot of people off. But my friend got took over when I went to the bathroom, and got a lot negs. I solved the problem tho.
JadenxAtemYAOI
I stayed in RC as well. My Soldier series was creative I guess.
Legend Zero
Went from CC to C&O to Showcase to TCG. I don't really remember my first days. The first thing I remember about this site was a couple of RP friends who left long ago.
Brinolovania
I made bad Ben 10 cards. Then I realized I don't like making cards that much, and I left for a year. Then I came back and found the TCG section, and stayed there. And the Deck Building FAQ was really helpful.

Legend Zero
how do i get a moving avatar
lol Smesh at least try to be on topic. XP tbh I did this right after the forum switch, so if the forum doesn't take .gif anymore then I don't know if there is a way. OT: 4tutoralcom was my first friend on here iirc. <
Ieyasu Tokugawa
My first card set included a loop that filled your field with 2000+ beaters. Now I don't even use the cardmaker. And I stopped using Dark Magician in every single deck I make.
Î’yakuya
I used to make Bleach cards and receive harsh criticisms from them. After receiving many "harsh" words, I left. I later returned and learned from my mistakes. From that point on I traveled to other places on the forums, and now I'm stuck at nowhere.
Nɇvɇrmorɇ
My first days on YCM were not so great. I don't know why I stayed, I guess just because me and my best friend had a lot of fun making cards together. I was a terrible noob and made quite a few joke cards that I posted in my real topics before I actually showed the real card. Yeah, no one thought I was funny. I learned the hard way that YCM had kind of strict opinions on fun.
Gospel.
I think the only thing that's changed about me is my taste in music....a little. I'm kinda branching out from just death metal and hardcore lol
Icy
I was using Ancient Gears and making "lol" expressions like they were made of candy. My cards typically focused on interpretting ideas rather than using my own ideas. Didnt leave Custom Cards for like the first 1-3 months until Dj Osiris linked me to some joke in General. Christian Exodia
Holy s***. It's been at least 3 years. This will explain alot; my first username was Cody_iz_goin'_to_win; I never used capitals except on the first letter of a sentence, and I overused emoticons. I did the Jim: Hey Bob Bob: Hey Jim type of Roleplaying. My homes were Roleplaying, and Clubs and Organizations (I was the guy who did the Sonic Heroes Club a few years ago.). I achieved Legend status at 10 years, joined at 9, around when Bloodrun was still here. Ah, Bloodrun. Darth too! Now, i'm a brooding 13 year old who has almost perfect capitalization, only an occasional syntax error, and an accidental double cap on the first word. I stay away from the Roleplaying section on the fact of how shitty it's gotten. I stick mainly to the General section and its sub-sections. I spent since July 13, 2008 on here, as the youngest popular member of all time (9 years old!). And it's given me more knowledge than basically everyone I know IRL. And i'm still here. Still here. Clair
I remember when I used to have 50-60 posts a day during which General had no set mod. That was insane. The site isn't as much fun any more, and I've become busy irl lately. But I still enjoy it here. ^^
Christian Exodia
Yeah. It's one of three places (The others being a Disney Online game and the forum dedicated to it) that keep me sane enough. And coffee. I remember those days. I got 5000 in 3 months then. Yeah, I agree with Clair.
Fusion X. Denver
I was a Pop Culture hermit for the first several months, toiling over Naruto and SSB "sets", entering contests for reps, and giving "constructive" criticism to almost every thread I could find while also trying to show the "trolls" that said my cards sucked that they were in fact super special awesome. Then I received a PM from a kid named Aa'une asking if I could join the Akatsuki of YCM. *insert 2 years of new friendships, animes, mangas, music, clubs, women, drama, trollings, lolyugikaibajoey.deks, tragedies, unfinished RPs, fanfics and life changes here*
The Amazing Avian
I went from noobish idiot to a slightly more refined idiot. I guess my main highlight was... I can't think of any. I do remember I used to think good cards=good deck. A few people taught me how wrong I was.

.Starrk
I started using this site from a different account when I started 7th grade. My grades have dropped since that time. Well, s***.
Shizuku Oikawa
I remember reading all the rules before even joining, and trying so carefully trying not to get banned after I signed up, as I was a careful type. I also avoided trying to start conversations to the members, and I pretty much just made cards, and was on Pop Culture Cards for like forever, rating a bunch of cards poorly. Marisa Kirisame-ze
I was Ninjakid1. Speaks for itself, okay. I was so naive. Met Larxene first on here when his username was Clairiex. And then a whole bunch of series of events followed after that. Oh goodness, have things changed. Can't say this site changed my life, but the members on here did. There were so many separate forums I became a part of because of the community I met here three years ago. The separate forums are more so the sites that changed my life, but YCM has always been a meeting place for the whole community.
