Your Ideal President?

We all know about the Republicans and Democrats running for President yadda yadda yadda. There have been many times when a governor or mayor was elected by popularity without ever running. My question is, if you could pick anyone to be president who would it be? A celebrity, activist, politician, journalist whatever.

Ip Man. The only problem with that is he's dead. Oh well, back to square 1.

But in all seriousness, discussing an ideal president isn't really a good topic imo.
Why? Because an ideal president will never arise. What do all the presidents in the white house have in common? They all had flaws. Why did they all have flaws? They were people, people have flaws. People tend to remember the bad things one did over the good. It's just how socioeconomic's work. :P

I personally don't care too much for this topic because I don't live in America, so...

tbh, I'm more focused on Congress than our next President.

An ideal President is someone who doesn't take bribes (or w/e they're technically called), makes decisions based on the overall good not just for a specific group, and tries to do so by comprimising with the other party. I'd also like someone in touch with the people, and not born and raised in a sheltered high life.

Regarding your first sentence I believe and agree Ip Man would be an awesome pres.

Secondly, the point of this topic is too discuss if you could. We understand that it will never come the point of this topic was to see who they would pick.

Thirdly just because you don't live in America does not mean you don't need to care. And if you didn't care you wouldn't be posting in the first place.

A President who stands by their values that they promised, and when they come into some public, or political stupidity will have the balls to flat out explain why and their own both personal and serious standpoint on why such problems are delayed. And anyone family with the actual internal stuff rather than the basic decision making process (since it never is JUST THAT SIMPLE), knows there's a lot of childish but semi-justifiable well... crap; behind the scenes.

I sincerely care less these days for a president who will do what's right since that's already the assumption and the must-be-done factor in it all. And care more for a President who will VALIANTLY stand-up for his or herself.
