However, because it's an [b]Equip[/b] Spell Card, you need to have a monster face-up on the field to activate it first. - It's additional effect of giving your equipped monster 500 ATK is a nice incentive to use it. However, this card's effect also includes the requirement that the removed monster needs to be equal to or less than the equipped monster's level. This also means that this card cannot target Xyz Monsters in the Graveyard, or even use the effect if equipped to an Xyz Monster. Dark Smog: - This card, being a Trap Card, that isn't a staple mind you, will make some Dark World and other Fiend-based decks wary of it. However, discarding a Fiend-Type during resolution means that not only will Dark Worlds benefit from it, but Fableds and hybrid decks consisting of either of the two will also gain an advantage. - This card will only synergize with the aforementioned archetypes. Outside of that, no other deck would be able to utilize it to its fullest. But it allows you to gain a huge advantage if you can pull it off and keep it on the field long enough in this destruction-heavy metagame. Both cards are interesting tech choices when you consider them, as their effects highly resemble the good old Ghost Destroyer. Discuss both card's playabilities and how well they can be used. Airride Posted January 24, 2012 Report Share Posted January 24, 2012 Is 5 dollars (And was reprinted in german or whatever but) Also, the thing is, Power pickaxe, like I said, is not very good, and dark smog is in a meat deck, but if they were both a rarity below ultra, they would be similarly priced(Maybe by a dollar or 5.)
