THE card in Karakuri. Also a card I think has a chance of getting hit.

Yeah they'd be hurt by not having it around but they wouldn't be taken completely out of the meta. There's plenty of quick ways to get Karakuri synchros on the field at the cost of a card in hand. Cyber Dragon, Instant Fusion, prolly other stuff I can't think of because I'm terrible at the game and terrible with Karakuris. It wouldn't be GG, but it'd certainly slow them down.

Besides, everyone does all the Synchro and Xyz action on their turn, so by your opponent's turn, you'll have no Karakuris that would otherwise die in combat.

Older days of DMG had it's effect like that.

[/quote]Machine duplication would not work as well under my design. You'd only get 2 extra Normal Summons, not one for all 3. Though if you NS, NS, Synch, SS Ninishi, NS, synch etc, then it'd work.
