Rebuilt Warrior Deck

Recommended Posts

Well since the last time I posted this deck, I didn't get the feedback that I wanted, so I took a lot of advice that I got in and I made it slightly better. Here's the old thread:

http://forum.yugiohc...e-warrior-deck/

And here's the new.

Once again, I have (almost) all these cards irl.

Since this edit, it's been doing masterfully well on DN.

All feedback is welcomed as long as Darkplant doesn't post an irrelevant deck again.

... There's so much wrong here, it's not even funny ._.

If you want Warriors, your only options are Six Sams or Bushi, pretty much. This is just random card splashed together with the theme "Warrior", which sucks as a deck theme.

All the equips, Rising Power, Warrior Returning Alive, Lightning Vortex, Double Summon, Card Destruction, and Scrap-Iron Scarecrow need to go. Now.

Total of 16 removed

Add in Heavy Storm, 2 Mystical Space Typhoon, 2 Solemn Warning, Trap Dustshoot, Torrential Tribute, and Solemn Judgment need to go in.

That's only 8, which takes you down to 37. 3 extra slots for the next segment.

As for the monsters, Swift Gaia is terrible.

-1 Swift Gaia
-All 5 tuners
-2 Exiled Force
-2 Ghost Gardna
-1 Gorz
-1 Twin Sword Marauder
-2 Wielder
-3 Captain
-3 Goblindbergh
-1 Megamorph
-1 Fusion Blade
-2 Lightning Blade
-1 United We Stand
-1 Lightning Vortex
-1 Returning Alive
-2 lolDouble Summon
-2 Axe of Despair
-1 Mage Power
-1 Card Destruction
-1 Scrap-Iron Scarecrow
-2 Rising Power

Total: -36 from 45

+3 The Immortal Bushi
+2-3 Doppelwarrior
+3 Junk Synchron
+3 Armageddon Knight
+2-3 Koa'Ki Meiru Bergzak
+1 Foolish Burial
+1 Heavy Storm
+2-3 Mystical Space Typhoon
+2 Solemn Warning
+1 Torrential Tribute
+1 Trap Dustshoot
+1 Solemn Judgment

Total: +22-25

Total Net Left: 31-34 cards.

The last 6-9 you can fill in with preferences

And the Extra needs to be completely reworked ._.

You need the Junk Synchros, Crimson Blader, Gaia Knight, Colossal, maybe Utopia and C39, put in Blade Armor Ninja, and you might be able to tech M. X-Saber Invoker if you tech Exiled Force, but eeeeeeeeh.

There's a lot to be done .~.

So, basically, just scrap this deck in its entirety and build something entirely different. If only I had the money and the time to afford that irl. I'll say no thanks to that, but I will consider building something like that on DN, for sure.

But personally, bash me if you will, but even though it's not an archetype, it still works well, it's fast paced and I got two OTKs with it today. I do agree about Swift Gaia, it's kinda annoying and in the way most of the time, but the main purpose is to power up monsters really strong. I had Landstar get about 4k in attack before (before this deck edit).

But really, just because it's not an archtype doesn't mean it sucks, just because it has a Warrior theme (yes, I like Warriors, they work well together), it doesn't mean that they have to be some overpowered archetype.

I'm ready to take the bashing for that.

i haven't bashed you ._.

The deck's terrible in its current state. It has no synergy, no win condition, nothing.

So you got lucky and OTK'd... personal experience means nothing. Personal experience told me that Colossal Fighter/Assault Mode was amazing, back when I ran a rag tag deck like this a couple years ago. Colossal/AM is utter crap.

I'm not even TELLING YOU and archetype, so what are you on about?

Warrior is a terrible theme, which, as I said, has no synergy in and of itself.

If you're not willign to accept changes, and call this "bashing", just don't post your decks ._.

I never said you were bashing me, I was just saying how I'm ready to get bashed for what I was saying.

As for synergy, I believe it does, the whole idea is to get monsters out fast and power them up, hence Captain, Goblin, Double and all of the equips. I got rid of the weaker (they were Warrior based) equips and added the universal ones to make it better.

I'm willing to accept changes, I was just looking for some feedback, which I got and I'm grateful for.

Nobody said it's bad because it's not an archtype.
Hell, bushi isn't an archtype. It's only called Bushi because of 1 card. It still works brilliantly.
This deck is perfectly fine for casual play, but for competitive, you're going to be getting a lot of beef.
Yeah, that's true. I rather play something like my Sanctuary Agents, but I don't play competitive, so I'm not worried. XD

Get rid of the equips and Double Summons for more staples like Reborn and the Solemns or something.
Equips are bad in any deck and clogs the hand very easily.
I wouldn't get rid of a lot of equips, mainly some like Mage Power or a Lightning Blade. But yeah, I think that I should get rid of Double Summon, I actually almost never use it to begin with because I already have Goblindberg and Marauding Captain. I only have DS in there because my friend thought it would work well, it doesn't really.

Originally, I had more equips because I used to run Gilford the Legend. I don't really anymore.

I actually used to have Ben-Kei in this deck. I took him out when I took Gilford out though.
My friend runs a deck specifically designed to special summon and protect Ben-Kai and super equip him for a massive OTK.

Ben-Kei is awesome if you know how to use him right.
Ben-Kei x3
Mystic Tomato x3
Summoner Monk x2
Sangan

Reinforcement of the Army
Heavy Storm
Mage Power x3
Axe of Despair x3

Royal Decree x3

Add filler.
