Other boss monsters
Take your pick.

uhh, well for the monsters you can just Solemn and if they MST you, that's great, but more than likely you will have other protection too...

Except solemn negates like half of those.
All of them, actually.

"Other protection"
You mean stuff that your opponent could have as well?
Get it through your head that "Trish" and "Instant win" aren't mutual without the word "loop" somewhere in there.

I'm talking about successfully pulling off Trish's effect.

If you're a decent player, then pulling off Trish's effect to rid your opponent of (net) 3 cards, then you should win.

It doesn't guarantee the win.
It just gives you an advantage.
You can recover from a net 2 loss in advantage (Graveyard not counting, though it can hurt).
Not being able to chose from the cards in the hand makes it more plausible.
Now if the opponent only has 1 card in hand and only 1 good card on field, then yes the game should probably be done by then.

Except you don't.

I've had times where Trish got me the plain advantage, then I get beat down because my protection wasn't enough.

Ask Brandon, I trished and he ended the game with C39

Not to sound disrespectful to you dude, but your perception of good and mine are very different.

By good i'm talking about the so called 'pro players'

You rarely see them go for a Trish and then lose the duel.

Part of loops?

Just ban the cards that cause the loops and not the random card that happens to be good in the loop. If you're complaining about getting sucker-punched by Trishula, too, keep in mind that you're just being a sore loser.
So waiting 10 hours and not being able to do anything while your hand dies without Veiler in starting hand is fair
/ok

OT:Traded this in a heartbeat when I pulled it. I'm betting on it being banned, even though I traded it a year ago :P

Uhh, yeah, it is. All is fair in love and war, as the saying goes. As far as I know, the game is equal opportunity. You don't factor in fairness, as such a thing doesn't exist.

So why do we have banned, limited, and semi-limited cards

[*]Konami loves money. It causes people to abandon old decks and go for the newer things.
[*]Konami doesn't want to see the same god damn deck top every time. Makes things more interesting.
