ragnarok1945
the picture almost looks like it was taken right off the Captain America: The First Avenger film is that where you got it from?
Comit
No, I got it at Deviantart.com (:
ragnarok1945
it's still reasonably good, I can understand why you gave it high def due to the shield Still, you have seen the Avengers trailer, right?
Comit
Yes, I was trying to be creative with the shield and DEF. I've seen the commercial, and can't wait to see the movie. I'm going to watch Ghost Rider 2 tomorrow!
ragnarok1945
just so you know, you should give him a serious weakness If you had see the trailer, then you would remember him telling Stark "You're a big man in a suit, take that away and what are you?" But he only got all his strength and stuff from the serum. Take that away and what does he become?
Comit
Yeah, that was a burn towards Iron Man lol, but if Captain America had the serum mixture taken away then he would be an Iron Man without his suit lol. Kinda ironic? haha. I don't want to make the cards have weaknesses though lol.
ragnarok1945
the problem however is that Stark doesn't seem to take anything seriously, a complete contrast to his father

ragnarok1945
the former I'm not a comic geek, nor too much of an animated TV geek, but I pay attention to the films
Comit
Ha that's good to hear, and the movies do kick ass. At least some of them.
Phantom Roxas
the picture almost looks like it was taken right off the Captain America: The First Avenger film is that where you got it from?
No, it doesn't. It's just a very well-done picture resembling the film. If you're going to post on a topic about a card, actually talk about the card.
just so you know, you should give him a serious weakness If you had see the trailer, then you would remember him telling Stark "You're a big man in a suit, take that away and what are you?" But he only got all his strength and stuff from the serum. Take that away and what does he become?
I'm guessing that his point was that Tony was just being arrogant, and Cap thought that the suit was what defined him. Cap doesn't need the serum to definie him; he's a true American to the end, and instead saw Tony as arrogant. Onto this card, I like the idea of him boosting the others, as it alludes to him being one of the lead Marvel heroes. While his destruction immunity is nice, the idea is either suggesting that Cap would sacrifice his allies to save his own hide or that the other heroes would willingly die for him. The latter makes more sense, so I'll go with that. As such, this card is very good in terms of representing Captain America. I would raise his ATK to 2000, if only so that he has more ATK that keep in line with him being a strong solider, as well as a Level 6. I know you want to make his Defense higher because of the shield, but that doesn't mean his Attack should be so low.
Comit
Thanks man that's some good help and criticism. I will change the ATK to 2000 cause what you say is true, and plus you seem like a very good member of this forum. Also you're a staff member, lol. ragnarok1945
you know Comit, I still don't get why you're excluding this card for the atk gain 1600 atk is weak for lv6, and 300 gain isn't even that much
Comit
Well I took in Phantom Roxas idea and raised his ATK to 2000.
ragnarok1945
with Spiderman, the Marvel counter effect you missed something you mentioned what it does to your OPPONENT, you didn't say what the Marvel counter does for YOU
Comit
Counters on a Monster Card don't have to do anything. They can just be placed on them till you have enough to use for an effect which in this case is how it's used.
ragnarok1945
well give that the whole set isn't finished yet, I'll assume you'll have another card to make use of those counters btw, you only going to do marvel heroes, do you have the villians on the list too?
Comit
Yeah there will be other Monster Cards with effects that have Marvel Counters on them that will boost the monster, and I do. Name a villain, and I'll make it.
ragnarok1945
You can start with Carnage then, I would have said Venom, but according to the comics he's actually neutral, not evil See the reason I wanted cards with counters on them is because you're not supposed to have a card that can put counters on itself simply for the hell of it
mike_destrall
hey dude... nice cards... i'm with ragnarok on this one and assuming someone will use those counters on spidey... since you take requests i would like to see a nightcrawler card... he could put those counters to good use... but i wont be telling you how to make your cards anyway, keep up the god work... i'm giving this cards 9/
ragnarok1945
in addition you should do an evil version of spiderman remember, he DID wear the venom uniform for a while......
Xi-3
Tony is not actually as arrogant as he's presented as being in the movies, especially after he has to erase his own brain to prevent Norman from getting the Registration List. That said, I'd like to see how you present both Tony and Osbourn. And if you're going to do Venom, make sure you have cards for the different hosts: Eddie Brock, Mac Gargan (Scorpion), and Flash Thompson. Steve would certainly not sacrifice anyone, but pretty much anyone is willing to follow him pretty well anywhere. The vibranium-adamantium shield is not indestructible, but it makes a pretty good go of things. Steve himself is also handy with a gun. If you do Bucky, will you also do him as Winter Soldier and Bucky-Cap? For a possible effect Spider-Man could have with the Counters, he could evade an attack or negate a trap (Spider-Sense). If you include Shang-chi you can also do another version of Spider-Man where he learns some martial arts, making him a stronger fighter. You can also have some of Spidey's suits as 'mid-season upgrade' -type equip spells the way I did. For an 'evil' Spider-Man, if you find Venom Spider-Man overdone, you could use Spider-Carnage instead, or perhaps the Spider (from Spider-Man/Hulk/Deadpool: Identity Wars). And speaking of, there's always Deadpool, Wolverine, and the rest of X-Force. I'll leave you to start with those. The pictures seem kind of weird. It's probably because I'm used to them being represented differently.
ragnarok1945
Yeah I was thinking the same thing since spider senses can detect traps so trap negation would work however if you do that, then for Venom and Carnage you might as well find a way to negate the counters remember, their symbiotes can adapt to prevent spider sense detection...... Xi-3
They can stop Spider-Man from detecting them, not other dangers. The same basic effect occurs when Spider-Man faces major enemies, like Morlun: his Spider Sense gets so 'loud' it becomes useless to him. On the other hand, Spider-Man also recently built an anti-Spider Sense bomb to stop Smythe, and lost his own Spider Sense (temporarily) in the process. That's what the Spider Armour MK-II is for (although he only uses it once?). See Matters of Life and Death. The Stealth Suit is featured in Big Time, and the Future Foundation Suit in FF (Future Foundation, not Fantastic Four). I haven't read Spider Island yet. Oh, and Carnage returned in Carnage: Family Feud, together with Shriek and a new Symbiote (Sentry sort of ripped him in half in the atmosphere during Siege).
