And no, it wasn't 'fun to abuse powers'. It was quite funny to play along (well, assuming that some of you didn't post depressing things on the status bar and got banned at that moment) and while I'm a bit ashamed of the attitude some of the mods are showing afterwards, I don't find it terrible if it stays with that one time. Hmm the only mods who weren't involved into this are the inactive ones. I do realize now that it may have been fun for us, but not for everyone who's concerned, especially people who were just writing something up and got banhammered. I have nothing against them but if they like to do that sorta stuff they shouldn't be mods. I know membership to YCM is privelage, not a right, but you could say the same thing to lunch and maybe even breakfast. Any of the mods that where not involved in this or didn't promote it are still good mods until they do some other stupid thing, but I mean how long has Miror been a mod? Not ruling him out directly because he helped clean up the mess, but maybe 1 or 2 months? People assuming YCMaker actually gives a crap is hilarious. Actually, everybody helped clean up.We all made sure to list everybody that we banned as to make sure nobody would stay banned.As of now, I think most, if not all the banned members are back.Many of them went offline before they were actually banned, anyway. We didn't just do this without any precaution. We made sure it wouldn't truly hurt anybody (banned forever, ect ect)We tried to make it good fun for all. You're still a good mod because you didn't directly say you enjoyed mass banning people for no reason. There's a difference between a joke and a abuse of power, I still think you could've thought of something more tasteful, like making an alt YCMaker and making it spam all over the status bar or something, just my opinion. But everyone should just forget about it, it's finished now. @Cifer: Oh, ok. Honestly, it's not like any real harm was done. You just need to take your stick out of your anuses and get rid of your butthurt and have some fun once in awhile. (in regards to post 30) Well there's not much of a reasoning, we (the mods who are currently active) all agreed that it'd be fun to play along and carry the whole "OUR GOD YCMAKER SI COMING" thing to a new level and pretend that it's true. It was fun while it lasted and staying up was worth it. All warns/bans were temporary etc. On second thought, it probably wasn't so fun for the people who were just busy doing something and we're sorry for that. (My greatest wish was to get banned though. I really wanted to get banned just to see how it feels, but 2 mods and 2 super mods couldn't make it work. So I banned ma sock-puppet account.)
