  1. 1. What would you do in a black-out at first?

    • Use common knowledge and calm most of the wusses around screaming, etc. *_*

Florida just got a power outage that lasted some time before authorities noted the problem and got to it. I was in this situation myself and many stories began to develop as the day progressed...like the terrorism or the solar radiation from the sun thus leading to power outages, mother nature, etc. It was like pitch-black once in my school and there was screaming and horror. Anyway.................what would you do if you were somewhere and a black-out occurred? Would you panic, die of terror, or just handle the situation using common knowledge? I did panic of course...but I did calm myself down when I realized it was nothing to really worry about...except nuclear power stakes...

So just post what you think of this situation becuase it has happened to places like New York, etc...

Well, the power lines here are pretty delicate, so the power goes off every once in a while. At first, I'd probably think it was just a power outage, so I'd just play with my DS or PSP or something. If I were to find out it was blackout, I'd be Mr. Optimistic and just say the power will back eventually. And I'm not scared of the dark or anything. But when in doubt, use the light on your phone. ;-)

Yeah...but there was like no power for like an hour and traffic was chaotic. I did use my phone...but the chicks in my class were terrified and stopped thinking...thus creating a unstable knowledge making them not think of that idea. (In short, they were too scared to think about it)

No...they go on lockdown and wait till things go all good' date=' then they release us...which is usually 30-60 minutes.

Meh, haven't had any blackouts here where I live, power cuts are meh

We did have an power cut here last year or something like that, it's was about 6-10 hours, it was kinda a pain, know what I mean? I had to study when the power was cut and the only light I had was candle light.........which didn't give out much light, had to use like 3-4 candles for a little decent light >_<

Meh, power cuts and blackouts, why even panic when they happen?
