Yes. I've done that in locals. Was simply hilarious.

Also...Veiler wouldn't stop SD/AM. It Tributes as a cost, so it would still negate, and still come back.

Just gonna say you may have your facts wrong here.

Veiler can't chain and target SD/AM because it tributes itself as a cost, leaving it off the field and preventing Veiler from targetting it.

If Veiler was used earlier in the turn and was successful for whatever reason, then SD/AM attempted to use it's effect it would still be negated.

In his example, he was chaining veiler to SD/AM negating Torrential.

Of course, doing Veiler any time earlier would make AM lose. But generally, AM beats Veiler.

YOC has a varied meta. People on there still think Dragunities are good, Fabled Worlds are good, and Solemn Judgment is bad because you have to pay 4000 Life Points.

I could go on and on, but I think you get the point.

I'm gonna get off my lazy ass and go do that now.

So like I have Game 1 and shizzle.

[spoiler='Here it is']Hey, everyone, it's Xiahou Dun from YCM. Today, I'm going to be stepping outside of my comfort zone and into unfamiliar territory, as I am going to be covering a very special match for everyone today. Most people aren't aware that the YOC, or the Yugioh Online Championships exist, so I feel it is necessary to spread a good rumor around to everyone in knowing that the matches can still have just as much flare as a regular YCS. Skipping right ahead to the finals match, we come across two competitors that have braved the daring gauntlet of the YOC, Brwwa and Unimeco (both are Japanese duelists). Brwwa, a very experienced player, has over 8,000 duels under his belt, but Unimeco barely has over 250 to meet the participation standings to duel in the YOC. Nevertheless, both competitors have fought fiercely and have clawed their way to the top to represent their country.

Now, it's time to get down to business. As a note, when you are watching a Duel on YGO Online, you are able to see both competitor's hands at all times and what they draw into. Brwwa, winning at the short RPS match, decides he goes first. Being crowned a "Ultimate Gunslinger", Brwwa looks to be promising in this match, contending against a puny "Silver Duelist".

The Duel Starts. Cue the epic fanfare Championship music. Both players draw into their five card opening hand. Brwwa's cards reveal a [b]Dandylion, Monster Reborn, Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter, Spirit Reaper, [/b]and [b]Call of the Haunted, [/b]while Unimeco draws into [b]Blacking - Zephyrus the Elite, Dragunity Aklys, Mystical Space Typhoon, Solemn Warning, [/b]and [b]Solemn Judgment.[/b]

Brwwa draws his sixth card, which happens to be a [b]Pot of Duality. [/b]He immediately plays it, revealing [b]Foolish Burial, Mystical Space Typhoon, [/b]and [b]Trap Dustshoot. [/b]Brwwa selects Trap Dustshoot. He places a monster facedown, which is [b]Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter, [/b]and also the new [b]Trap Dustshoot [/b]he just picked up. Passes.

Unimeco now goes first, who draws into [b]Bottomless Trap Hole. [/b]However, before making another move, she is cut off by Brwwa's [b]Trap Dustshoot [/b]Brwwa decides to return [b]Dragunity Aklys [/b]back to the Deck. Unimeco then summons [b]Blackwing - Zephyrus the Elite. [/b]She rams the Zephyrus into the facedown Ryko, which takes both of the cards out. Ryko mills [b]Solemn Judgment, Royal Oppression, [/b]and [b]Sangan[/b]. Unimeco sets a [b]Solemn Warning [/b]from her hand and passes.

Brwwa draws into [b]Thunder King Rai-Oh, [/b]but decides not to use it right away, as he has [b]Spirit Reaper [/b]to back him up. However, just as soon as Brwwa makes the play, Unimeco flips her [b]Solemn Warning, [/b]pays two-thousand Life Points, and destroys [b]Spirit Reaper. [/b](LP::6000) Brwwa won't back down so easily, however. He plays his [b]Monster Reborn [/b]in order to revive the fallen Reaper. With everything in place, Spirit Reaper attacks directly and inflicts three-hundred points of damage to Unimeco (LP::5700). Spirit Reaper randomly discards [b]Solemn Judgment[/b] from Unimeco's hand. Brwwa sets [b]Call of the Haunted [/b]and passes.

Unimeco draws into Cards of Consonance. She shuffles her hand (Note: This is a common strategy used on YGO Online to deceive your opponent. It's much easier to bluff on this game than it is in real life, or even on DN for that matter) and sets her remaining hand facedown on the field, which consists of [b]Bottomless Trap Hole, Mystical Space Typhoon, [/b]and[b] Cards of Consonance. [/b]She passes.

Brwwa draws into [b]Spore. [/b]He decides to set [b]Dandylion [/b]and changes [b]Spirit Reaper [/b]to Defense Position. Concludes.

Unimeco draws a copy of [b]Starlight Road, [/b]which she sets. Brwwa draws [b]Solemn Warning [/b]and decides to use that [b]Thunder King Rai-Oh [/b]that had been sitting in his hand the whole time. Unbeknownst to Brwwa, however, Unimeco flips her [b]Bottomless Trap Hole [/b]and destroys the Thunder King. Brwwa then sets his [b]Solemn Warning, [/b]but a Blind MST takes quick care of that facedown card.

Unimeco draws into [b]Dragon Ravine[/b], now assembling the key components needed to secure her victory. She plays Dragon Ravine and concludes her turn.

Brwwa draws into [b]Card Trooper[/b]. He then Summons Spore while also flipping [b]Dandylion [/b]in the process. Brwwa initiates a Synchro Summon and Summons [b]Black Rose Dragon. [/b]The effect of Dandylion is placed as Chain Link 1 while Black Rose Dragon is placed as Chain Link 2, ready to Nuke the field. The obvious play however lets Unimeco flip her [b]Starlight Road, [/b]negating the effect of Black Rose Dragon and allowing her to Special Summon [b]Stardust Dragon [/b]in the process. [b]Dandylion's [/b]effect is still in the clear, nevertheless, as two Dandy Tokens show up on Brwwa's side of the field. Not giving up, Brwwa decides to use [b]Spore's [/b]effect, Banishing[b] Dandylion[/b] from the game and allowing Brwwa to Special Summon [b]Spore [/b]as a Level 4 monster. He then plays his set [b]Call of the Haunted [/b]in order to bring back his three-eyed terror, [b]Sangan. [/b]The now Level 4 Spore tunes with the two Dandylion Tokens and Sangan in order to Synchro Summon [b]Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier[/b]. Trish Banishes a Set [b]Cards of Consonance [/b]and also Banishes [b]Blackwing - Zephyrus the Elite [/b]from the Graveyard. Trishula runs into Stardust Dragon, shaving off two-hundred Life Points from Unimeco (LP::5500). Brwwa ends there.

Unimeco draws into [b]Dragunity Phalanx[/b]. She, without a second thought, discards it for [b]Dragon Ravine's [/b]effect in order to grab [b]Dragunity Aklys. [/b](Note: This seems like a misplay to me. If she were to search for Dux, she could have Summoned it, used its effect to grab Phalanx, Synchro for Vajrayana, and then synchro again for Scrap Dragon.) She passes without another move.

Brwwa draws into [b]Debris Dragon[/b]. However, he decides to put that [b]Card Trooper [/b]of his to some good use. Brwwa ends up milling [b]Thunder King Rai-Oh, Gorz, the Emissary of Darkness, [/b]and[b] Chaos Sorcerer. [/b]Brwwa sends both of his cards in for a Direct Attack, dealing a total of forty-six-hundred damage to Unimeco (LP::900). Passes.

Unimeco draws into [b]Blackwing - Zephyrus the Elite[/b]. Unimeco immediately discards it for Ravine's effect and grabs [b]Dragunity Legionairre. [/b]Unimeco then Summons Aklys. Now, a switcheroo happens, as Legionairre joins the field and Aklys gets equipped onto Legionairre as an Equip Card. After Aklys equips onto Legionairre, Brwwa uses [b]D.D. Crow [/b]to Banish [b]Blackwing - Zephyrus the Elite [/b]from Unimeco's Graveyard, inhibiting Unimeco's next play. The mighty combination of Legionairre plus Aklys takes out both of Brwwa's monsters. Due to [b]Card Trooper's [/b]effect, whenever it is destroyed, the owner of the card draws an additional card, which happens to be [b]Dimensional Prison[/b]. Legionairre directly attacks for twelve-hundred damage (LP::6800). Unimeco ends.

Brwwa draws a card, and now has two [b]Dimensional Prisons [/b]in his hand. He Summons [b]Debris Dragon [/b]and uses its effect to grab [b]Card Trooper [/b]from the Graveyard. Brwwa then decides to mill the top three cards of his Deck. Since [b]Card Trooper[/b]'s effect is negated, but not the cost, Card Trooper can still mill cards, but will not gain any ATK. It won't matter, however, as Brwwa intends to finish off Unimeco this turn. Brwwa tunes his Level 4 Debris Dragon with the Level 3 Card Trooper in order to Synchro Summon [b]Ancient Fairy Dragon. [/b]Then, Brwwa attacks the helpless Dragunity Legionairre for a perfect game (LP::0).
