DARKPLANT RISING
I suddenly felt like writing this.
Trishula. When I heard news of your effects, I knew I wanted you. I fell in love with you. You know the phrase, "Love on first sight"? Most people have that with girls. I had it with you. After Pulse of Trishula was released, I spent thousands of yen on it, hoping and hoping that I can pull you out. My first Ultra was Genex Ally Triforce. Cursing, wanting to rip it up, I kept on throwing in the coins. And finally, you answered my call. When I threw in the final coin, the card that came out was a white, glittery, Secret Rare - you. I carefully placed you in tight sleeves, and on top of that, the normal ones; atop that, another, and another, and another. After placing you in five sleeves, I went home, grinning from ear to ear, and slept, dreaming good dreams. Soon, news came that you became Limited. But I didn’t care – I loved you anyways, and besides, limiting Extra Deck cards is sorta pointless. I knew I would keep on using you till the end of Yugioh. After some time, you were released for a second time in Gold Series 3. I was a bit unhappy that everyone will gain access to you, but didn’t stay sorrowful for long. More people started to like you, and I liked that. Your joy was my joy. The death of Goyo Guardian spread some rumors throughout my friends that soon others will follow its path. They said you will get banned too. But I never believed them. Synchros were everything, and you were the king of them all. No one’ll dare touch you. At least, I thought so. When the March lists came, saying you were now banned, I told myself they were fake. They had to be. But when I bought V Jump and tried to find out for myself, what came into my eyes was your name listed among the new Forbidden Cards. You were gone. Now, you are no more. But truly, Trishula, I would never forget you. You were my best friend. You were everyone’s best friend, and the most worthy opponent, and the best Synchro ever to exist. Those golden times when we together Banished that Hornet, or PSZ, or Zephyrus, or Dandylion, or Grapha…those times’ll never come back. Along with Glow-Up Bulb, Spore, and partially Striker, you disappeared from our hands. The era of Synchros is over. I can never summon you forth again. But don't worry. All of my memories, all of the times I’ve summoned you, are precious crystals in my soul. I’ll never forget you, Trishula. Rest in peace.
Anyhow, discuss on Trishula's much inferior sucessor. You know what it does. [s]And was the story above true? No, it isn't. My Trishula is a Normal from the Gold Series.[/s]
Blake
TRISHULA IS ASLEEP POST FABLED PONIES OT: I always wanted to use Mist Wurm in my decks, but not like this... Can't say I'll really miss Trish too much, though, given the fact the opponent usually had just as much access, until recently.
Alice Moonflowyr
R.I.P Trishula. *bows head* Mist Wurm is alright tho. Gotta love summoning it against a field of Xyz/Synch/Fusion monsters.
Not-so-Radiant Arin
OT: Mist Wurm can still be used for some crazy shenanigans with Mind Crush, though. And clearing three backrow cards is always nice. [/badcombo]
NumberCruncher
Anyhow, discuss on Trishula's much inferior sucessor.
Mist Wurm came before Trishula(as anyone from trollfernity format could tell you). Not as consisent as Trish, but good for making game-ending pushes. DARKPLANT RISING
Not as consisent as Trish, but good for making game-ending pushes.
These two have complete uses. Trish can be sumoned at any time and lead to a direct win. Mist Wurm is good as only a game-ender, and is meh as a middle-game monster. Alice Moonflowyr
He's wrong where he talks about agents. You summon Balls to go into Gachi Gachi. Not Trish/Mist Wurm.
