So it's not as epic as before, but at least the basis of the effect is the same as we knew earlier.

And you could use cards that LOWER opponent ATK, essentially tripling the loss.

Opponent has 2500 Stardust (just as an example). You bring out this and use Burden of the Mighty. Stardust's ATK drops to 1700. Use this effect, burn for 800, gain 800 ATK, attack it for 1500 damage (Machu has 3200 ATK now). So what was once 100 points lower, with one Continuous card and an Overlay Unit, inflicted 2300 damage.

And now more extreme examples, like Minimum Guts, or Darkworld Shackles. Do that to a monster and deal almost 6000 damage with ease.

Minimum guts also grants your remaining monster the Flame Wingman effect.
So lets say you control Machu, a random token, and the Opponent has something random like Cyber Dragon.
You play Guts -> Tribute Token -> Cyber Dragon becomes 0.
Machu's effect -> Machu@4500
8000/5900
Machu runs over Cyber Dragon
8000/1400
Guts' effect
8000/0

So roughly This + Guts is an OTK against anything with about 2K ATK.

Not quite. Minimum Guts burns for HALF damage.

Let's see, what's the base minimum to OTK with this...

1600 original ATK.
Drop to 0 with Guts.
Burn 1600, Machu gains 1600 (ATK: 4000)
Attack for 4000 damage
Minimum Guts burns for half (800)

So 4000 + 1600 + 800 = 6400

Okay, so let's say it has 2000 instead.
Drop to 0
Burn 2000 (Machu ATK: 4400)
Hit for 4400 damage
Guts burns 1000

7400 damage.

Still, it's an amazing combo.

Not quite. Minimum Guts burns for HALF damage.
For some reason, I was under the impression it did full damage.
Regardless, Guts doing roughly 5K damage with Machu is flat-out amazing.

...Shame the combo will be at least 4-5 cards >___>

Which makes perfect sense.
Yea, full damage was a little over the top.

Regardless, we need to think of ways to easily pull off said combo.
I'm thinking it will be a weird combination of Quickdraw Synchrons and Quillbolts.

It did burn for full in the anime. I just looked it up a short while ago and found out it does half. Which makes perfect sense.

Where are you seeing it does half? Both Shriek and Wiki say it's original...

Guys, Megamorph@3 should be a staple for Machu.dek
No really..
If your Lifepoints are lower -> Equip it to your monster -> Do big damage
If your Lifepoints are higher -> Equip to Opponent's monster -> Machu gains ATK + does large damage

...I think I'd rather just use Shrink. :V
