Store Screw-Ups (Interesting situation with Sears inside)

Has there ever been a time where some store you know screwed up bad with something and got themselves in a ton of trouble (or at least come close?)?

There has for me, or us. In fact, just today, Sears stores all over the place ****ed up big time and wound up selling SSBB today, even though the release date isn't for almost another 2 weeks. But they found out and stopped selling, since they knew they could get sued by Nintendo. Now they're trying to get mandatory recalls for the sold copies. Haha, good luck with that Sears.

Are you serious?!? If I knew this I would've rushed and got some of them (to sell later).

They may be able to track those who used a credit card or something. But for those who used stuff like cash......well' date=' they're royally screwed.

There wouldn't be a reason to track down the people who used a credit card. Sure they can try to get their games back, but in the end, the consumers did nothing wrong. They bought a product from a store that wasn't supposed to be selling it yet.
