Each time you draw a card(s) for your normal draw in your Draw Phase, place 1 Greed Counter on this card. You can send this card with 2 or more Greed Counters to the Graveyard; draw 2 cards.

Shard of Greed is good in Madolce because if they destroy my field I can draw more and if they destroy Jordan I can still gain advantage anyway.
Discuss.

Also sorry Shard, I just had to.

It would. I will go rage at Konami somehow for not doing it already.

Then people will abuse it and you will rage at Konami for making it.

What makes this card a good anti-meta card is exactly its vulnerability.

It either gives you more resources or attracts MSTs away of your backrow.

This exactly. Every MST they waste on stuff like this an MST that doesn't hit Fiendish Chain.

With this logic, you would think the card gets more play.
Yet, I've only seem it used by people with random decks :/

Not all decks can afford it.

Only a few decks can actually play this because they already run Duality and need more resource refueling.

Some people play it on HEROes, but I seriously don't like the idea, since HEROes have so many searching options.

But pure anti-meta decks that thrive on cards like Fossil Dina like Shard of Greed.

Malefics maybe? They're Anti-Meta, rely on 1 monster at a time...

This card is quite frankly garbage in an Inzektor/wind-up format, as well as heiroglyph when they appear on the meta scene. mostly because you don't have the 2 turns to use this, but for another reason. They can MST your other backrows, and not care about getting rid of this and explode. its a lot more in your interest to be able to follow up an MST to your skill drain or fiendish chain, with another trap to keep control of the game. not this thing that, if they MST, you ultimately die. Card-Car D is x10 better for Malefics. for malefics, against wind-ups it takes a spot you will need to keep them under check, and they play 3 smashing ground so Forbidden Lance is much better for the spot. Inzektors, will poop all over this. rabbit you need to compete for the field presence, if you play this then its one less card you have and they will eventually draw into more backrow and rape you :/. also, malefics don't play a lot of backrow that rabbit wants to mst anyway, so you make their mst more live.
