Then, send 1 Synchro Monster from your opponent's Extra Deck to the Graveyard. The effect of "Memory Crush Disciple" can only be used once per turn. -I was thinking about adding another effect if you Special Summon the Memory Crush King from your hand. Obviously an effect that would benefit and not a drawback. I would like some feedback on whether this is a good idea or not. Long story short, this is an attempt to support Memory Crush King. For those who do not know(and are too lazy to check), Memory Crush King banishes Synchros in your opponents grave and inflicts 1000 damage to your opponent for each banished upon direct attack. That being said, it is quite obvious to how this card supports Memory Crush King. By sending the Synchro to the grave you open up the opportunity to deal more damage to your opponent. Also, because Memory Crush King is a Level 5 and only has 2000 ATK points, most of the time it is not worth the deck space or time to summon that it uses up. To lessen this set back, Memory Crush Disciple allows Memory Crush King to be Special Summoned upon activation of the effect. Well that is all I got, I hope this lives up to the rules of the Advanced Clause. Black Temple Gaurdian
I can see this working wonders against malefics, and it works well with Memory Crush King.
Resident Fascist
and it works well with Memory Crush King.
No s*** sherlock! Also don't break the advanced clause. It's put in place to stop this place being a pile of garbage. Anyway, It's a level 3 fiend so I have to mention Tour Whore. Next, 1000 ATK is faar too low and it falls under the same trap as Memory Crush King. Unless you use Safe Zone or similar, this card is incredibly vunerable, and making a level 4 with 18/19 ATK would make it far better support, also as far as name and effect, it doesn't support memory crush king. Please, make it able to tutor Memory crush king or something. More to the point you miss your draw, which is highly important and overall it makes it a really weak card. Black Temple Gaurdian
Oh you make me laugh. AFAIK advance clause discussion ressumed today, or at least that's how I read it. Now I could argue against that piece of garabe clause but I wont. Despite being weak it doesn't matter to much as the only time this'd hit the field is when the player's either desperate or going to tribute.
Just because you don't agree with the rule doesn't mean you can just ignore it, but I suppose you'll learn that soon enough. The actual rule was implemented and in effect as of the 19th, which is today, so yeah, you technically do have to follow it. OT: The card has an interesting effect, but skipping your Draw Phase is not worth it at all. You have to think about the fact that if you're going to give up your Draw Phase, it has to be worth it, because that's a bigger cost than discarding for sure. Like Shard said, I'd give it some kind of effect along the lines of: [During your Draw Phase, you can discard this card and skip your draw: Special Summon 1 "Memory Crush King" from your Deck.
I was originally going to put the attack at 1700, but thought that since you would be discarding it, it wouldn't matter. Also, keeping it at a Level 3 also gives Tour Guide access to it(really not that big of deal though...). Alright, then I will consider raising its atk. Thanks for the comments guys!Alright, I edited the card and upon seeing the new Advanced Clause I added the paragraph explaining why I created the card and what it was intended for.
