thekazu4u
Uh, not that I am not a fan of MaRo or anything, but Yugioh generally does not change terminology, ESPECIALLY when they literally JUST CHANGED remove from play to Banish. So, changing Banish face-down to exile is sorta out of the question. Also, it is key to the mechanics of certain cards (Necroface) that cards that are Banished face-down are still Banished. Plus, book-keeping hardly plays into this idea because nobody has to keep tract of a card that is face-down or face-up... they just look and see it.
I'm not changing terms I'm adding a new vocabulary word. I could use both terms. Book keeping was in regard to remembering what cards are banished by what effect. This was before I was thought to just Banish facedown since I only know of 1 card that does so Lightforce Sword and I can get make a ruling for that. Mostly posted that to add something to the bump and to show why I thought of using exile in the first place.

Flame Dragon
I've recently been wondering if I'm using the ":" and ";" right. Anyone care to help with that?
thekazu4u
The colon ( goes after conditions, the ( goes after costs/targeting. So if you know the old wording, basically wherever you said "You cannot activate this card unless..." or something of that nature, put a colon after it. Wherever you put a comma for a cost, or a "to", put a semi-colon after it. If anything, it makes designing cards easier. Whenever you think up an effect, just ask yourself when you want it to be used. Write that and then a colon. Then think up any costs you want to be associated with the effect. Write a semi colon after that and finally write the effect of the card. So rize from the grave would be: "Banish 7 monsters in your Graveyard face-down and target 1 monster in either player's Graveyard; Special Summon that monster to your side of the field." (Not quite sure if it is "your field" or "your side of the field") The only card that seems a bit bad in this set is burn to the bone. We don't really need ANOTHER 1000 burn for no cost card. Sooner or later, enough cards are going to come out that burn for ~1000+ that somebody is going to make a deck out of all of those cards and cause a real problem. I've been trying to double check to see if I'm dong it right but the page where they announced it is mia. So reveling be a cost right? Yea, I can see that. When I first made the card I made it 800, but I wanted it to kill more creatures so I raised it to 1000. I might lower it again though based on how big the creatures in the set are. Also, the cards are made to be played with just the set (so I'm going to make over 100 cards) so having some strong burn in this set doesn't matter that much since you can't use it with the rest of the burn in the game. And even if you want to play it with the other card, just try to remember I'm not designing them with the rest of the game in mind. Between being out of the loop for almost 2 years and how easy it is to make something that breaks something we already have I think it is just easier to design like this. Flame Dragon
Curious about the wording on this card and if it is right As you can guess, I'm super bad with names and he doesn't have one atm. Also how do I make this work I want to make it so Blaze Counters cause the monster with them to loss 100 ATK and DEF for each one. The problem is if I have the card say that simply destroying the card causes the counters to be meaningless. I want to make it so regardless if the card that makes the Blaze Counter leaves play the effect the counters have still remains. How do I do this? I was thinking using a ruling that just says "Creatures with Blaze Counters loss 100 ATK and DEF for each one" but I'm not sure if that works. Anyway, thanks for the help. marv_
Quite nice. 7.5/10... There are some OCG errors. Also, you don't need Shining Mirror Force if Mirror Force exists, Mirror Force is obviously much better. Lore for Wall of Flame:
Activate only when an opponent's monster declares an attack; place one Blaze Counter on the attacking monster. Each monster loses 100 ATK and DEF for each Blaze Counter on it. Blaze Counters are not destroyed when this card leaves the field. After this card is activated, place it face-down again instead of sending it to the graveyard.
Methinks this works

I know I should have some mistakes with the ":" and ";" but over all isn't shouldn't be that bad, and you can figure out what they are doing "Since I'm planning on having the set only play with itself" IE: I don't care if I'm making cards that are strictly worse then current cards since none of those cards are a factor when making the set. When playing with these cards I'll only include cards from it. Plus Mirror Force is at 1, this is at 3. So yea.... As for your version
1) Activating on an attack is a condition, as such you would use ":". I know this is right since I copy/pasted from Mirror force. 2) Blaze Counters wouldn't normally be destroyed. When it leaves the field they simply sit their doing nothing since they gain an effect via this card. 3) Why would it go to the yard when I active it? Its continuous... 4) If it just goes face-down after using it wouldn't that make the counter do nothing since they have nothing to check for the above reason. -Lightray Daedalus-
080's wording should be How many time per turn you can use this effect/when you can use this effect?: Target 1 monster in your Graveyard and tribute 2 monsters you control whose combined level is equal or higher than the targeted monster's level; Special Summon the target. As for general rulings for new OCG they go like this: How many time per turn you can use this effect/when you can use this effect?:Which costs are needed to activate this effect?/which actions must be made when declaring this effect?;What happen at resolution? Then you add/take according if anything in those spaces are in the effect or not... For example in continous effects that has no activation Timing, or Costs.

Like, isn't the point of RC to take into account cards currently printed? If you did not, you could easily post something like Painful Choice but then not make any graveyard-based cards etc...
It works when you making a full set of over 100 cards. At that point the set you should have enough interactions that you can judge it on its own merit. And something like Painful Choice can never be fair since you would need to limit a whole ton of design space just for the one card, and that is never worth it.
