Only when the opponent-
Madeleine #1 searches Madeleine #2 -> Then proceeds to get destroyed by the Opponent -> Goes back to deck.
Madeleine #2 searches Madeleine #1 -> Then proceeds to get destroyed by the Opponent -> Goes back to deck.
Hence, infinite Madeleines.

is the effect meaning to state destroy by your opponent's cards either way? or just 1? just to clarify since it looks like it missing few words imo.

When it's destroyed and sent to the Grave by your opponent.
Being destroyed by your opponent's Dark hole is being destroyed by your opponent.
Dieing in battle to your opponent's monster is being destroyed by your opponent.

If you can get a non-Modocle Spellcaster monster in your Graveyard, you can use Solidarity on this, effectively making it what Jurracs were in Samurai format. Especially easy with Effect Veiler. Unfortunately, 1HS/3MST is not doing this combo any favors. I like this card in that Hornet isn't particularly devastating to the deck as a whole, but they don't have much they can rely on.

Now watch Konami make an Madolce in the next set with the Summon conditions of Eatos, a Hyperion effect with a cost that it ditches Madolce into the grave and also returns itself to the deck when it dies.

Calling it now.

I could say this card is sweet.

:3

Cheatu makes it a 1900 beater, which is nice, making it (Superior in that sense) to Stratos, although with Cheatu you can't endless recycle them but thats not the point. Keep dat hand advantage up otherwise.

Ruling Question:
I have Madolce Chateau on the field and I activate

What happened there?
Monster has to go to the deck because if it doesn't you're not paying the cost properly.
If the new wording on Château is correct, then all "Madolce" monsters from your graveyard will be shuffled into your deck after activation, and since Chateau is active on the field when this happens, it's second, continuous effect activates, allowing you the option to add any or all "Madolce" monsters from your graveyard to your hand.
Discard 1 to Bounce Something, the second to Bounce Chateau, Play Chateau Again Recovery all the Madolces back and repeat
