Valkyrus
EDIT: changed the written lore LORE:
2 level 3 monsters Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: declare a Level from 1 to 12. During your opponent's next turn, all monsters your opponent Summons becomes the declared level until the End Phase.
the effect is based on a field spell I made some time ago and I really like. Also I think I don't need to say it screws up your opponent's Xyz/lolSynchro summoning. Although you would think it actually helps them, I don't see what your opponent would do with their level 12 Tour Guide. Anyways, comment/rate/love/hate/suggest/fix. Organized Chaos
Ooooh, a Level changing Xyz. Very original. So the main point of this is to distrupt Xyz, Synchro ? Yeah, I guess it would. Declare 12 and win. The stats are quite low but I guees it doesn't need to survive just to use it's effect. I would still reccomend adding in that you take no battle damage from battles involving it. There's a hidden purpose to this card : Possessed Dark Soul. Declare 3 and watch as on your next turn, you take control of their BLS. This card is easy to summon in that deck as well. Tour Guide into this. But still an amazing card with a very original yet sneaky effect. I love it. Great job. Also the pic <

Thanks though, glad you like it.
ekko1990
Pretty nice, though i don't see the need for the no battle damage effect, as you could always place it in defense. You could also use it for a Tragoedia takeover, which could be hindered if you gave it the effect of taking no battle damage.
thekazu4u
Possessed Dark Soul. NotSoSlender, you are a genius. The obvious thing to do though is to declare 12 and watch as all their synchro/xyz plans go poof. It would be a extra-deck staple I am guessing, but one of the balanced ones. The no battle damage effect is not good. It does not even fit the rest of the card. You managed to create a simple, original, balanced card. Don't change it. EDIT: oops. I thought it was monsters they already have out, not just monsters they summon. That changes it a LOT. Consider changing it, as this method is a LOT weaker than what I thought it was. EDIT #2: Ruling: you declare 3. I summon Zenmaines. Is zenmaines now treated as a level (not rank) 3 XYZ? o.

Is zenmaines now treated as a level (not rank) 3 XYZ? o.0
actually, I believe it's better this way than what you suggested, simply because your opponent does their synchro/xyz-ing during their OWN turn, and they wouldn't summon their materials and just leave them there during my turn so I can use this the way you suggested. The fact your opponent might already have monsters out isn't that important since this is a card that you can easily summon on your first turn with tour guides etc. Also, about your second edit, no, zenmaines would still be treated as Rank 3 from the wiki:
any effects that would refer to the Level of a monster, such as those of "Gravity Bind", "Level Limit - Area B", and "Burden of the Mighty" cannot be applied to an Xyz Monster.

(I.e. affect the ones out and the ones they will summon). Example of wording: "Until your opponent's End Phase, all monsters under your opponent's control are treated as the declared level." Not "Until your opponent's End Phase, all monsters your opponent currently controls are treated as the declared level." Yea, I guess it is sort of an ambiguous wording, but I can't seem to get it any better. Sorry.
from the wiki:
That is referring to things that talk about the level as in "if the level is X or higher" etc... not "the selected card is treated as a level X." Your opponent won't summon Junk Warrior, then SS his dead Ryko and just end their turn so I can conviently summon this and screw up his synchro summoning. Do you understand? No one summons all their xyz/synchro materials for a synchro/xyz they want to bring out and simply end their turn. They Synchro/Xyz during the same turn. So it's useless giving this the effect of modifying levels as soon as its summoned. Even if it modifies a single material your opponent has out, they still will need to bring out the other one/two/three etc, which will be affected by this card's effect anyways. I hope you understand now, that modifying levels during your turn is useful in only about 1 out of 100 cases. So I don't really need to add that, although I guess it still wouldn't overpower it but eh.
That is referring to things that talk about the level as in "if the level is X or higher" etc... not "the selected card is treated as a level X."
read the quote again: "any effects that would refer to the Level of a monster...cannot be applied to an Xyz Monster." That means Xyz monsters cannot "become" a certain level. My card makes monsters "become" a certain level.
Blake
This card's design is.... Almost PERFECT. It's good enough to shut out Rabbit/Wind-ups and many other decks, but too small to be a force to be reckoned with by JUST the right amount that a Sabersaurus or Rai-Oh can run over it yet it can beat over smaller things. It's LIGHT which is great for Chaos Fodder once it's killed. Rank 3 means loltourguide target which is a definite plus, given how the effect doesn't give you any actual payment for summoning it. Only thing I'd suggest is maybe make i everything they summon until their next End Phase. Just seems to complete the puzzle to me, given floaters and such exist, no matter how bad most of them are. Rewind a format and it'd be hilarious to hit Tengu with this. I'd side it for sure. You've been doing amazingly lately, between attitude, knowledge, and overall quality of your presence on the forum. Keep it up.

I thought it didn't because there wouldn't be many cases in which that'd be helpful, but even if I added that in, it wouldn't break it ( it's just that my template's hard to edit since it's in PS and I have to make the card all over again >___>; ) [/s] sorry, I misunderstood that part, fixed it so it lasts until your opponent's End Phase. But I'll just add a lore in the Opening post, fixing the card. And thanks ^^ I admit I was sort of a dick before, but I guess I learned a thing or two from lurking in the TCG section and playing a bit more competitively on DN than I used to. Although I still prefer playing casually. Also, I try to make cards that work within the TCG more and interact with other cards rather than making standalone, unsupported cards like before.
