Darj
Machine/Xyz/Effect 2 Level 4 "Sacred" monsters Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a "Sacred" monster you control battles, during the Damage Step: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; that monster gains 1000 ATK until the End Phase. + Practically a 3400-ATK beatstick. + By increasing their ATK, it indirectly protects your "Sacreds" from being destroyed by battle. + LIGHT-Attribute AND Machine-Type. A combination I happen to like. + "Limiter Removal" and "Honest" support. - Exclusive to "Sacred" Decks because of Summon requirements. - Low DEF, which can be abused by cards such as "Book of Moon", "Ojama Country", etc. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Being a fan of Machine-Type monsters, this is one my favorite cards: I find the artwork awesome, it has an effect that fits Machine-Types (ATK boost), and it supports its allies. Because of their different Types, I didn't like "Sacreds" at first, but this card and Ptolemys were the reasons I finally gave them a try on DN, and then became one of my favorite archetypes; They are certainly not top tier, but are still really good (or at least my variant does pretty well) and better than the Machine-Type Deck I ran. However, I no longer play DN except with close friends so I don't know how "Sacreds" perform against the popular Decks. So, discuss this unique Xyz Monster that can beat up most Boss Monsters by himself.
CDDRodrigo
Sacreds are tier 3-ish now, but can still be explosive. This card's cool but the other Sacreds outclass it except for Hyades.

Anbu-of-Sand
I prefer using the Sacred that either can bounce on either player's turn or protect your Sacreds from Spell or Traps for a turn then getting this card out, unless I'm in need of running over beat sticks of course. A well designed card (and Archetype) overall in my opinion (I feel my hand disappears so quickly though when using them).
