Tengu was different in more than one way... mainly being Synchro fodder. Here's what Konami could consider: releasing 80 card packs to TCG and OCG at the same time while also releasing OCG and TCG exclusives to each other in each pack. They didn't need to make a card like this, but, since the money is the focus, a card like this is a huge move to gain more money. While they fill up their pockets, we're stuck with badly desgined cards, be those too good or too bad, without hope of improvement from their part. Synchronized Posted March 29, 2012 Report Share Posted March 29, 2012 I'm not sure it's that good. I mean, it's only got 1000 ATK, so a simple Beaver Warrior could take it out. And plus, the monster you grab can't even be used as a Synchro Material, so I couldn't grab my Dark Resonators and bring out something like Gravity Warrior to really lock the opponent down. [/quote] Indeed, if it was to be weaker, at least make it not vulnerable to Trap Hole. But also not so weak to not get caught by Eatgaboon or House of Adhesive Tape. I run Great White at 3 in Banished Fish and that just makes Tour Guide an awful, awful option. You know? It's almost as if all of these Tour Guide threads are exactly the same. It's one of the absolute worst designed cards to ever be created and deserves to be limited. Heck, it deserves to be emergency limited, it's just too broken a card and virtually defines the format by itself, seeing play @3 in each one of the best 3 decks. Imagine you COULD synchro, it would be so broken in Fableds it would probably be banned by now. Anyway not much to discuss about her, tho you can talk about all the interesting targets she has, I mean bringing out Broww is just awesome in Dark Worlds.
