Sorry Spike, I couldn't DN with you since I was having a walk in the woods while carrying my laptop around, lunch took about half of the day and I was too busy hugging my Galaxy-Eyes Dragon plushie while still making posts on the forum, which made it really impossible to duel.

But then again, we'll see what the actual evilfusion will say about this.=P
...there are GEPD plushies...?

...I wants one...

._. Kay, I wont actually be participating in this anymore. My fricking flash refuses to update. My dads gonna take a look at it, but he's the king of procrastination. So...yeah.

I can still host this though! Now to update the OP with all you new joinees....
Wait... new joinees?

THAT MUST MEAN ME

And takes a lot longer.
Each player would be in 15 duels.
If we're lucky, we might get this tourney done just in time for the format to change.
Which is why everyone should vote for single elimination.

Round Robin?

Which is basically a more luck-based Swiss.

The right one.

If you lose in Single Elimination, you're royally screwed.

If you lose once in Swiss, you still have a chance to cut to the top 4 or 8 or whatever.

Please know what you are talking about.

I do. and losing once shouldn't screw you. cause just once, IS LUCK BASED.
there is no avg, there is no chance to show you just had a bad matchup, your just out, and that IS BULLSHIT

If we end up doing Single Elimination, which looks likely, everyone will play a full match instead of a single duel. Each matchup will be best 2/3. If we end up doing Swiss, unlikely, everyone will play a single duel with their matchup. So either way, you have more than one shot.
And you wouldn't do a full match either way... WHY???

Eh? What do you mean you wouldnt do a full match either way? I LIKE the idea of having full matches, compensating for a bad hand, or bad matchup.
So why in the world would you suggest having no matches just because it's swiss?

Because you would be dueling 15 other people. In the first round ALONE. Having a full match with all of them promises to be rather...tedious.
It'd be no more tedious that doing a single game. They're there. Why would it be tedious to duel two more times?

It's more luck-based because it doesn't promote skill. Swiss is skilled because you face against certain match-ups which are different to other people, and scores are determined as such.

Round Robin is just stupid because you're overtesting everyone to such an extent that you cannot actually tell who is skilled or not. One of the reasons why people win in Swiss is because of how skilled your opponents are.
