Alice Moonflowyr
Ok we have...one slot left. Huh. And actually, Im gonna go put a poll in the beginning. You guys can all vote for what style of tourney you want. Single-Round Elimination, or Swiss.

If you lose in Single Elimination, you're royally screwed. If you lose once in Swiss, you still have a chance to cut to the top 4 or 8 or whatever. Please know what you are talking about. Alice Moonflowyr
If we end up doing Single Elimination, which looks likely, everyone will play a full match instead of a single duel. Each matchup will be best 2/3. If we end up doing Swiss, unlikely, everyone will play a single duel with their matchup. So either way, you have more than one shot. Alice Moonflowyr
Eh? What do you mean you wouldnt do a full match either way? I LIKE the idea of having full matches, compensating for a bad hand, or bad matchup.

Alice Moonflowyr
Because you would be dueling 15 other people. In the first round ALONE. Having a full match with all of them promises to be rather...tedious.
It's more luck-based because it doesn't promote skill. Swiss is skilled because you face against certain match-ups which are different to other people, and scores are determined as such. Round Robin is just stupid because you're overtesting everyone to such an extent that you cannot actually tell who is skilled or not. One of the reasons why people win in Swiss is because of how skilled your opponents are.
