I don't really see a problem with this if it was released. With or without Gorz around.
It negates 1 damage and gives you a Token, which at least, will serve you as a shield.

It's utterly epic card design, and besides its user is one of the Three Gods of ZeXal (Shark, Kaito and IV), but sadly it would see no play in this format. Most people don't run a high number of non-free-chain S/Ts besides the Solemn Trio and TTs (both of which can kill bugs and stuff).

This card dosn't at all seem like a near carbon copy of another Yu-gi-oh villian's Trap Monster at all.
